Re: Exhibition race 2. Cross Country Chase at Cheltenham. 3m
I play the US schedule and so my longest distance horse is currently a 1m6f flat unraced 2yo, otherwise I'd throw my hat into the ring. Love to see the competition and betting coming along nicely... I'll throw £100 on Height of Elegance and £50 more on Manmoon to win. Hopefully I can raise a few long distance jumpers with a new game so I can give you all a run for your money!

Will have to change your £100 on Height Of Elegance to £50 as maximum stake for everyone is £100. So you have £50 win Height Of Elegance &£50 win Manmoon is that okay? "Betting market now closed"

Hopefully I can raise a few long distance jumpers with a new game so I can give you all a run for your money! I do too and also had no long distance horses so I did a easy cheat to gather some long distance horses. I turned all the 2m2f to 2m5f feature races in the default UK flat schedule into sellers and with a stack of money I accumulated from selling a few transfers I bought every winner of those races at auction for a few years and exported them. I then trialed them against each at the race distance and came up with El Libertador. Manmoon was a legit auction horse who surprised me with his ability. This cheat is not fun but I needed long distance horses badly. All my legit jumpers were barely able to get 2m5f at the most. 2m or more horses in the flat game usually make good 4m and up jumpers.

"Betting market now closed" Sounds good. For some reason I thought we had £1000. Next time I'll have to read more clearly! Didn't think about a custom schedule. I play StartIt almost exclusively and enjoy it a lot so not really looked into modding the game myself. Might have to poke around and see what happens next week when I get some time together. ghostzapper74 wrote: It's good to see a newbie.
If we get a league it's great fun and u will really enjoy it. Yeah been playing the game for a while and really enjoying it. I had started a breeding game a few months back in case there was a league revival, but sadly it's on my pc and I'm attempting to move home (UK to US) so had to start again on my laptop. Once I get the pc here I'll be able to really dive back into the game and hopefully get a couple of horses ready for some competition!

Great race. Well done all winners and places.
What the hell happened to Monmouthshire.
Will put profit and loss results for all up tomorrow.
Thanks Mark, look forward to the next one.

Re: Exhibition race 2. Cross Country Chase at Cheltenham. 3m
I wish I could tip like that in real life I backed the first 2 I was over the moon with Tawny, she's always in the money in her trails but has never beaten Rosemoss. Rosemoss jumped a great round but didn't run on like she normally does. Congrats to all the runners and it was a great race. Hopefully we will get a chance to run a real league

Re: Exhibition race 2. Cross Country Chase at Cheltenham. 3m
Well done Mark and your team! What an exciting race! I'm stoked - I backed the first 3 past the post - even urged them on running towards the winning line lol Well done to all of you who submitted horses for the race and well done to Tele for framing up a market for the race!
