Monmouthshire I knew he was done for when he went wide round the bend going out for the last time anyone who rides the horses themselves know if you go wide round the cross country course going past the post you lose the speed in the bar and your horse nearly comes to a stop and you never recover enough to get back in the race if you watch the race again watch the horses wide drop back going around that bend for the last time not to worry I backed johns horse each way.

Well done to John and also to Paul who I think had the 2nd and 3rd.
My horses were hopeless and just ran round at the back of the field to about halfway before both were pulled up at almost exactly the same time. I guess they just couldn't bear to be parted.

You got unlucky with Black Coffee - It messed up one jump badly - not sure if it cost it the race but it would have finished a lot closer with a clean leap.

So what happened to 'hold up, don't trail, challenge earlier'. Anyone would have thought I told the jockey to 'hold up, give up if still last after about 3 miles'!! Australia did really well for a long way though, so it'll be interesting to run her over her ideal trip. It was a good race and what a good computer Mark must have because the graphics look amazing!

Very happy with my 2 finishing 4th and 5th but it was just great to have some competition, it's been too long since the last league
and I haven't played the game in months because of that. However this has reminded me of what I have been missing and look
forward to the league whenever it happens.
Thanks to Mark for setting this up, Teleprompter2 for the odds and everyone who took part.

Your two horses ran cheeky races!
You'd have to be happy with them :-)

Great fun, thanks Mark and Teleprompter for your roles in the race and betting. Sad to see Manmoon fade but was an exciting finish.

Ran better than I expected. Ghostzapper, Simpleminds and PJ are the jumps pros and I didn't really expect to beat them with me putting so little effort into the jumps game.
