Four winners on the flat this week for my game bred auction bought team.
Race 20: MR McGOLDRICK: Brilliant front running performance, looked beaten but kept pulling out more all the way up the straight. Race 22: UNIVERSAL BIRTH: Showed a good turn of foot in this grade to win with something in hand. Race 30: JERICHO: Delivered late and this time went away to score in good style, deserved this after running very well lately. Race 32: EMPEROR: Stayed on grimly to land the extreme prize.
Total time spent building the team around one hour! Well done Steve Matt

Can't believe i got the 1-2 in the Welsh National, knew Gee Dee Nen had a chance but Victory Gallop didn't see that making the frame. Both gamebreds which was good to see, may stick to just gamebreds for now on

I'll take my second win ever with Ergo Proxy. A very commanding win after struggling to find her stride. She won my five straight Melbourne Cups in game so hoping she wins me many more in the league!

				  Re: League Weekly reaction

My flat horses are still running. Goodwood is just not going to suit my mostly hold up horses

The ground seems to be making a difference for me in NH. 3 wins, 3 seconds and a third all on soft ground. The only blips were at Newbury.
National Hunt seems to be favouring hold up horses. If a horse hits the front too soon the jockey will start looking around and stop riding. If it happened in real life there would be loads of banned jockeys. Probably needs to be looked at in the next SO, annoying a jockey stopping riding when in the lead, although I have benefited from it a few times.
It is also interesting how horses are performing well at unexpected distance or codes. Bekend was uploaded as 2m5 chaser but is doing really well over 3 miles. Out of my Mind should be hurdling but has won a chase now. Paranoid Android won well over 2m4 but should need 3 miles. Way of the world, a hurdler almost won a grade 1 chase, although his jumping let him down late on which does indicate that he is a better hurdler. It shows horses are more versatile now.
Some of my horses have come from so far back at the last fence Doug only notices them quite late.
Enjoyed the comms really adds to the racing
Also think not having the normal small horses, which seems to be what normally happens to breeding lines on the flat is making a difference in NH. My horses seem to be able to carry weight and are jumping better. Small horses seem to be better on the flat but really aiming to have a good NH team. If my flat team suffers then so be it. I just have a flat team for the sake of having some runners in the big races

Archenfield ran well again but could only finish 3rd. The handicapper may be catching up with her now.
The rest were pretty poor as usual.
I am hoping to have a bit more time to improve my team ever so slightly for next season but I love it how ever my team perform anyway.
  Thanks to all.

The usual mixed bag for me. A few minor placings, a few disappointments and my one star horse "Money Never Sleeps" winning his 4th race of the season (the racekit played ball ). Did we also have another first time winner, Ben Bonnici, if so huge congatulations.

Continuation of my flat teams abject failure to keep pace, better showing over the sticks with a 5th place runner my best showing.
