I believe Zarzuela is Stu whos a old trainer coming back and has had winners in the past but I expect he be happy having getting his first winner this Season and Congrats To Adam hope the hassle you had trying to join the league feels worth it now. GrayYou believe correct..... Finally a win albeit a little 0-85 but chuffed all the same. (Zarzuela old stable, and Simply Dreaming 6yo a horse bred way way back) The rest on the flat nothing to report had a few over the jumps picking up place money (Prob. because John wasn't there lol) Well done all winners and placers...

   |   Re: Weekly ReactionOne winner today over the jumps. Parkland Girl led from start to finish in the listed mares hurdle. It was a strange race as no horse wanted to make the running, but once she went into the lead she just kept on running and running. That's her 3rd win of the season. She likes making the running, her other 2 wins were when she hit the front early and ran on strongly.
A couple of other nice placers, but I had quite a few horses who I thought were in with a chance but they disapointed finishing well down the field.

I drew Josh in the DC championship and he had a 4 - 2 lead after week 7 and had another 2 winners today so I think the score is 6 - 3. Unless I have a miracle Tuesday and Wednesday with about 7 winners, I think the writing is on the wall.

   |   Re: Weekly ReactionWeek 8 - Monday
 Flat

High Tide - 2nd stayed on well but was fading on the line, 1m is her limit. Kosovo Girl was impressive.

Need for Speed - 10th out of his depth today

Baba Hari - 5th good run at a G2 given her limitations

Prohibition Almighty - 8th stayed on well, but never a danger.

Closing Gap - 1st blistering last 2f, great run from the first of my next gen sprinters.

The Prisoner - 8th stayed on well enough but very one paced today.

 Jump

Eye of the storm - 2nd ran well behind Amber Princess, who looked very impressive on the day. Congrats Adam.

Slim Chance - 11th ran out of puff today and likely went to soon at the 5f mark. 3.2m was always going to be tough

William Coconut - 9th back to usual form, lead and fade. No G1 horse

The Ghost - 1st my second G2 winner of the season, delighted. Totally pinged last which made the difference on the day.

Translucent - 5th ran on solidly but never really a threat

Coconut Shy - 8th not her finest hour today, parkland girl looked very good for her win.

Rabbling Rebel - 6th good showing in a G1 right in the mix, but never quite offering a real danger

Hush Puppy - 5th 2m is his limit and it showed today

Grey Estate - 9th not in his one when it mattered. Allied Cardiff looked very good for his win off high weights

The Mentalist - 3rd travelled the last 4f very nicely, but this time let down by his last jump, win some lose some. Good race to watch.

 Josh
