Are u trying to go in the Kit by using the picture( what ever u call it) because that doesn't work for me, I've got to go in it through the game, by opening it the actual game.

Does the same thing happen with both versions of directx?
You can switch between dx9 and dx11 in the options menu.

I run my racekit through my icon but for some reason the shortcut icon is Jockey Rush so I expect you don't have Jockey Rush John.

Yes I don't have jockey rush. I might get the greyhound game though, I've almost finished my breeding for the league and if we have another season after this one then I'll do a bit later on this year.

Yes I try and access it via the jockey rush icon. Two questions:

1- how do you open via the game?
2- how do you switch from dx11 to dx9?

DX11 to DX9 - pretty sure you can do it in the menu of the game.

Doug is right, click the middle button on the main screen to access options menu and switch from dx11 to dx9.

Hi Josh

You have probably done this already, but if not give it a try.

You should already have copied the Racekit to C:\program files (x86)\starters orders 6. The folder should look something like this:

Try running the Racekit from this folder and see what happens. If it runs from here, you can create a desktop shortcut from the Racekit.

That's what I do, but I right click on the game then open file location and it works in there.

Once you have opened the file location, you can create a shortcut on the desktop by right clicking on the racekit and select "create shortcut". It's a little quicker to start the racekit doing this and then using the shortcut.

If windows creates the shortcut in the SO6 folder, just cut and paste it to the desktop.

Tried all that before, no dice, the directx bit is new though and in keeping with the error message, just not had time to try this evening.

There is a directX diagnostic tool in windows. You could try running this program and see what happens.

Right click on the windows icon in the bottom left of the screen and then select the Run option.

Type dxdiag in the box and press OK

Progress thru the various pages and you will get an error report if anything is wrong.

There are a couple of other things you could try.

Right click on the racekit and you should see something like this.

Try running the racekit as an Administrator or try running the Troubleshooting option.

I have two graphics adaptors in my computer. If you have built in graphics and high performance graphics, try each graphics adaptor.
