   |   Re: Weekly ReactionNo winners this week for the stable.
Many made the money with the best effort probably being Schumacher who followed up his win last week with a good second and can probably go in again.

As always, many thanks to the team who run this great league.

   |   Re: Weekly ReactionTwo wins this week. Liam Brady bagged his second for the season and Juventus got his maiden win. Absolutely delighted that I now have five wins in the league. I never expected that. Even thiough my horses are only competitive in the lower handicaps. But as long some of them are competetive, I am happy. My NH team are rubbish, and I hope some of my new uploads can compete a bit more. Big thanks to everyone involved in running the League. You do a great job, I am addicted. And great comms yesterday, especially doing Juventus related commentary, with mentioning The old lady and the scudetto. That is commentary genius!

   |   Re: Weekly ReactionThree wins on the last day to round off a decent week which included a G1 on both codes. Was surprised to see Mocha Latte prevail over Za Approval, and pleased to see Doom finally get a win after three 2nds.

   |   Re: Weekly ReactionA fourth winner on the flat for me with Marching Powder in the AW MD gives me 5 wins in 5 weeks which is more than I hoped for and now the season target of double figures looks achievable.
Paul, I hope Martin Leedham moves a bit quicker than me and if you retire me to stud I'd rather have Kim Marsh, Helen Mirren and Jenny Bond than Teresa May, Edwina Curry and Juliet Bravo.

Cheers to all for the kind words about the comms. Not sure anyone would get 'the old lady' bit about Juventus.

I called my win in the racecard this week... "Put in stable for his soft turf ability. Finally gets soft and a weight break. Big player here." I like reading peoples notes in the racecards. I wish more trainers would do it. It gives the league more life. Now if Howells can just cut back on his rating's gripes in the notes... I do hope you're joking as I am not complaining about the handicapping, the horses get the ratings they deserve judged by their performances I just have a pretty good idea what they need to be competitive. I also state when I think they are well in. I agree I like those comments but very few use them. P.S. Are you going to drop all of my horses 6 pounds or do I have to keep griping? Or do you want one of the brown envelopes?

   |   Re: Weekly ReactionA reasonable week, one shock winner on the flat in the 9 furlong handicap with what I thought was my worst horse and another 4 got in the money.Only one placing over the jumps but it was my national horse finally showing his true form in the moores million qualifier. He's still only rated 94 so I might even give him another run before the big one as he will have bottom weight anyway.
Congratulations to all winners and a big thanks to everyone who helps run the league.

   |   Re: Weekly ReactionJust the one Mrs Wembley Keys picks up 2nd win on flat for me and the horse, & back to back, which I have a fond spot for as you would know from reading my posts The rest pretty dire a little place money and I mean a little a couple of 4ths across both codes, so really poor stuff the past 2 weeks. Big shift in the stable 8 newbies for the flat & 15 for the hunt, assuming I get the time between now and Fridays deadline... (btw I never had full teams to start with, if wondering how so many newbies) Well done to all who take part & the race runners, comms, etc etc.

Man it's all good. There are very few notes from trainers. A lot of yours have the words "rating" and "high" in them. I can't help but notice and contemplate if there a subtle hint there, or you are just honestly assessing that your horse needs a lower class. It's fine and I know you are not really "griping". At this juncture the races this week are very light on runners. I hope there is mad rush between now and closing time in regards to entries._________________https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClB2FZ7Qvwq0Ons_6jN1lAQ - Watch The Cats! 24-7 Webcam Of Non-Profit Cat Rescue
