Anyone else still holding off buying just yet?
My last SO purchase was SO5, and I am definitely very interested in getting SO7, but it seems from reading these forums that the beta still has some way to go yet before it's in any fit state, particularly in the realism department (ratings, schedules, horse jumps progression to name but a few).
Therefore, I'm going to hold off buying this until the magnificent modders on this great forum have got the game up to scratch and Mark has addressed all the bugs and moved this out of beta. I don't want to play a second rate game and keep restarting as new and better mods get added.
Is anyone else on here in the same position as me? When do folk think the game will be in a stable and much improved state to play properly?
Just to be clear, this thread is not a criticism of anyone whatsoever!
Thoughts anyone?
Graham

Just like me, but it's also a rest from the many SO6 seasons.
Think I will buy it next year.

I'd say buy it and have a mess around with it before it comes out of Beta then u will know all the new wrinkles. This stage in games is always to have a mess around and fix the problems.

For me, I enjoy being part of the testing process, so I bought it on day one. It also means I know the game inside out by the time the full release comes out.
I'm a schedule modder as well, so it gives me a chance to work on my global flat schedule and fully test it before the game comes out.

As I'm away from my laptop at the moment for a little while, I think that looking at the feedback on here, I'll invest in the new year. Thanks all

Re: Anyone else still holding off buying just yet?
Is the game still classed as in Beta? I noticed on Facebook a new update was recently released, I’m enjoying 06 still currently, will certainly get 07 but I want the game fully patched and bug free before I park 6 and move to 7
Thanks

Thanks Yes, the beta stage will likely last at least a few more weeks.
