Technically, it's possible to go into the horses.dat file, decrypt it using the spreadsheet, look for "Juliet Turner" in the list, then rename it something that's more appropriate for a colt!

I could be wrong Panther but I'm not sure that would work. The data in the horses.dat file would likely conflict with the data in the .sav files which would then cause the game to crash on load or alternatively work but with the edit not taking effect, in theory anyway.

Ah yes, that's probably true, so it couldn't be done mid-game. I don't have any gender-specific names in my horses file anyway, so it's not something that's ever come up, but just assumed it would work.

It can be annoying, particularly when there are tons of sex specific names and they land on the wrong sex, especially when they work out to be very good like the one above and win sex specific races but in real life there are a few horses with names you would expect to be on horses of the opposite sex so I find it slightly more bearable than it used to be. Most of my names are non-gender specific but the odd few still are.
I know that in SO2 any changes to the horses.dat file didn't take effect without a new game so although I doubt it will be any different on SO4, I haven't tested the theory.

Juliet turners incredible run of 27 g1 wins in a row has come to an end
he will be back next season for his final season of his racing career before going to stud
he has been an awsome horse and i hope he will reach the 30 g1 milestone
