I am 35 seasons into a game and have noticed recently that some horses are occasionally changing disposition. I only race and breed from horses that have normal disposition. I have noticed that a few of my horses change, always seemingly to laid back. Has anyone else noticed this happening? Is this a game feature or a bug?

Laid back is better then normal it means the horse is less likely to charging or sweat before a race and it happens as the horse gets older more relaxed.

See i disagree, i often find laid back horses often refuse to settle. I prefer normal disposition but hey if you excuse the pun it is 'horses for courses'. Thanks for confirming the change of disposition is a feature rather than a bug.

Refuse to settle means the horse should be gelded and isn't related to it's disposition (in game). This is something I'd like to see changed as in reality a laid back horse wouldn't refuse to settle.

I never thought about that. Usually when I get a horse that "refuses to settle" I sell them. I'll geld them now. Thanks for the pointer Anubisrich!

Since you can't breed from them I often sell them anyway (or keep them til they are 6/7 and hope they are a good NH prospect, usually do this if they like good ground or softer) but the improvement is massive (10L+)
