1 winner this week in the NHC for me, Syntillating in a grade 2 2m hurdle race, Union Rags disappointing this week hope he picks up next week.

Congrats all winners and placers!

Another decent week again this week if not as good as week 7, my best ever week in the league.

3 winners - Lucky Star, Calcutta and Butcher Cumberland
3 2nds - Atlantic Antic, Lady Sandwich and Wild Bill
1 3rd - Clapham Omnibus

Lucky Star has run some cracking races in defeat and deserved to get her head in front. Calcutta raced wide and made a few errors but ran on strongly for the win. For some reason I've overlooked Butcher Cumberland a few times when doing my entries so he's only had a couple of runs til now. He's pretty decent around 2m5f-2m6f so hope he can pick up another prize before the season ends.
I'm not sure what to make of Atlantic Antic who finished 2nd in the Betfair Ch. Making the frame in a Gr1 is a fantastic effort but I can't help feeling that was a below par effort with conditions to suit. Lady Sandwich ran really well in the Ascot H'cap Hdle putting up a season's best performance and Wild Bill ran much better this week although he remains the most frustrating horse in my stable.

A number of others ran well including Out Of Date who didn't stay 2m4f and Western Roll who found 3m4f too far and got run out of the places close home. Dick Dastardly had the opposite problem and found the trip too short but ran on to finish 4th as well.

Well done all winners and placers and best of luck to all for Cheltenham next week.

A good week for me with 3 winners.
Started off with Curly Jet who picked up a handicap and then Cut The Crap who won the G2 Reynoldstown Chase but the one that gave me more pleasure than any other winner this season was Moores Minion taking the G3 Moores Millions Stayers Leg 12 at Downpatrick, it doesn't get any better than that as far as I'm concerned.

1 winner and a couple of unlucky seconds for me this week.

War Admiral 1st - Always rated this boy highly as we was good in the flat league last season but didnt think he would win so impressively beating his rivals almost in a canter in the Betfair Ascot chase

Large Build 2nd - Another cracking effort by this very consistent mare just being caught on the line by the talented Waabesh giving him a pound which made her effort more special as Waabesh is was rated 13lbs higher before the race

Only one winner again for me this week but atleast it was a gr1 Marble Walk winning the Irish Champion Hurdle
hopefully he can do the same again next week but will be even tougher on faster ground
