As much as I have loved sharing these horses, I think this is a disadvantage for those who are willing to participate in the new league season. It's easy to get a balance of peoples breeding systems, especially getting the chance to run your own horses up against these uploaded ones. I think im seriously giving the league a shot this time around with only a few of my select horses which i have had some success with, and as much as i'd love to share them, I don't want them to be on display at the moment.

Well thats ur opinion, But at the end of the day nobody is forcing you or anyone to do anything here...

Some people, probably the majority of people (Me included) have no inclination to join the league and love having these horses being offered around.. It allows us to get a complete new set of bloodlines to breed with and adds to our game experience..

As has been stated 1000 times before what happens here has no effect on the league because the horses here are not to be used in the league, so i really dont see they need to keep going on about it..

Thats cool dude, it was just an observation i was making, like i said i did try out some of these horses and in an earlier post produced a great sprinter who went 21 races straight, i think its brilliant, was just making a point to people who breed for the league.

Post Re: Horse Exchange - [New Horses!]
Thanks to EVERYONE that has posted such great horses, too bad I can only import 6 per year!

Right now I am in my 3rd year with the default schedule, and Heathers Angel is 23 for 23, and is an absolute MONSTER.

Shinbad is equally as impressive, but I imported her a year behind Heather's Angel.

I also just won with a 2YO homebred at first asking. He's a Missle/Blast From The Past colt, and the jockey won with a hand ride at 5F....absolutely amazing!

I have a Hemmingway/Tough yearling in the shed - and can't wait to see this one!!!

Thanks again to everyone who has uploaded horses - if I come up with something worthy, I'll make sure I share it.

Greg.

Best thing to do if downloading these but you have a mind to breeding for the league is to download stallions and geld them, but only really if you need the money. However how about having a league that only has one meeting in breeders cup style with loads of different championship races for people to enter horses they have bred in partnership with other people. You could have it once every few months and as it is just one meeting it would require less work than a fully working league, and it would allow people to breed and race some truly phenomenal horses, to try and see the kind of times we could get.

I think we should have a match race between AKHCs horse and quelesprits horse.Get them both to the same age e.g 4 & post the files on here. One thing when you put horses into race builder do you select the riding instructions or do you have to select them before you export? If you have to set them before you export set them to even pace don't trail. That way it would be a fair race. I only say this as they have same parents but bred on different computer would be interesting to see if they dead heat( or as close as you can get).

I'll download tough beauty and have the race, I will put in a pacemaker too and race them over 1m and 1m2f

I'll post the results up in a bit

Race them at an American track or over straight track at Newmarket 1st turf course.

Actually the filly will improve till 5. Also she races best ridden handy. Even pace would penalise her. Best to trial horses in CK using instructions which benefit them most.

Well quelesprit is putting in a pacemaker to give a good pace, though the best way to have a match race would be to put them both on force the pace, don't trail. That would be more like a classic match race and stop it being a tactical affair. If you want you could both wait until the horses reach their optimum age post them on here and I will do an impartial match race with either both the same instructions-force the pace, or chosen instructions.

When both are exported using even pace, dont lead, dont trail

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/80 ... akers.png/

But when they are exported using preferred tactics

1m2f with no pacemaker

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/24/1m2f.png/

1m2f with pacemaker

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/70 ... maker.png/

1m no pacemaker

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/15/90168898.png/

1m with pacemaker

interesting results

So what were your preferred tactics? And did you have 2 pacemakers in the first race?
