[quote="SuperCat"]Shockingly awful week for me. My main hopes all fell and most of the others either got god awful rides or could just never get into it. The best result was Geraldine who was 4th again in a 4m chase! VERY frustrating![/quote

know how you feel, that was me last week

Week 6 runners, fingers crossed for better luck!

Race 2: 17 days later Handicap hurdle 2m6f: Oak Diamond Rose: Step up in trip and down in class should help her. As long as she stands up I'd expect her to be right there at the end. NAP

Race 6: Sandown Handicap Hurdle 2m7f: Oak Ruby Orse: 4th again in week 4, the trip and course should suit well. Hoping for a good run.

Race 8: Sandown National 3m5f: Oak Blazing Rose: she was well outpaced again this week in the Hennessey, hopefully the drop in grade and step up in trip will help her this week. As long as she doesn't carry too much weight and doesn't get outpaced at the start she should go well.

Race 9: Peterborough Chase 2m4f: Oak San Rose: This is my second choice race. I will see what the entries and weights are looking like for the December Gold Cup when there are more entered and make a decision then. Trip and course will suit though.

Race 10: Huntingdon Marathon 4m1f: Coco Palm Ii: I think he'd be outpaced even if there was a 10 mile race! Hopefully he won't get left behind early. I'm hoping that Huntingdon might provide better ground for him to maybe show a bit more than he has been in Ireland on the heavy.

Race 12: December Gold Cup: 2m5f: Oak San Rose: First choice but a run will depend upon the ground and the weight he will carry. The extra distance would be a worry, but he has already proven he can run well around Cheltenham and it does seem to be his favourite course.

Race 13: Stan James International 2m1f: Oak Crystal Rose: Still clutching at straws with this one, she is a little tripless, but nearly always shows up well. The hill and the New Course will help her, though I wouldn't be shocked if she is just too slow to bother the ones up front.

Race 14: Unicoin Homes Relkeel Hurdle 2m5f: Blazon Ii: His run will depend upon the ground. Ran awfully here in week 3 on good, but a better effort when a non-stayer last week on g/s made me think that having soft in the ground is a must. He *could* go well.

Race 16: Noel Novices Chase 2m3f: Chick Ii: Ran really well last week. The drop in trip should suit and as long as he jumps well again he could pick up some prize money.

Race 18: Ladbroke Handicap Hurdle 2m: Oak Rival Crystal: He put in a great run last week, I'm a little worried he'll fly up the handicap though. 2 miles won't suit, but he loves Ascot which is why he's entered here.

Race 22: Moore's Millions Stayers 3m2f: Forest Viking: Hopefully the extra distance will help and maybe some of these horses will be a little less classy than the ones he's been racing against. Hopefully he'll run well so I can step him up further in trip, his ideal race this week would have been the second Moore's Millions race or the London National.

Race 27: Betfred Pools Handicap Chase 2m6f: Oak Diamond Currency: was excited last week and jumped badly over an inadequate trip. Hopefully she'll be dropped in the handicap so she can storm away with this race back over her ideal distance. Finger crossed! NAP

Week 5 thought I lost a week then supercat

Race 3 Neptune Investment Novice Hurdle NIGHT NURSE placed twice in top class novice Hurdles over 2miles since dire run in NH Flat race in week 1 Stepping up in distance to see if can stay the extra distance and will know where to go next and plan the rest of the season with my best hurdler.

Race 6 Sandown H'cap Hurdle PENZANCE NAP Winner of last Weeks Fixed Brush Hurdle at Haydock and in my view is still well handicap although the drop in trip might be against her but as every chance on last weeks improved performance.

Race 8 London Marathon PASS THE BUCK Last Chance Saloon for pass the buck right down the bottom of the h'cap as been very dire in league hoping he can show some form like he did in ck.

Race 11 Juv H'cap Hurdle MY TONY Well Handicap Juvenile should be in top 3 at least still have hopes of entry in the triumph hurdle at the festival or Fred winter.

Race 18 Ladbrooke Handicap Hurdle CASTLE IN THE SKY rated 105 so well handicap finished third last week hoping for a place or even two better this week on soft Ground.

Race 22 Moores Millions leg 6 SISTER FEELINGS CALL my favourite horse named after my favourite album of the 80's if you watch the Hennesey last week just watch how this horse was gaining ground in the Straight and at every fence the jockey pulled him and jumped slow lost lengths he would of gone close so today is his day Guranteed.

Race 23 Moores Millions Leg 7 MUBAAH Rated 145 after hammering a moderate bunch in the Florence Nightingale over 4m 2f two weeks ago so here to carry a big weight and give me a idea if he could carry weight in the National if not then I might upload MUBAAH Mark two. :P

Gray.

3 winners in a week for my stable is a first for me and after last weeks blank very much a surprise.

I have probably ruined all my chances in the handicaps for the rest of the year, but I will still run my horses no matter what. I was very impressed with Silver Charter's brave top weight effort in the Huntingdon Marathon.

I had a target of 10 wins over the season. I already have 7 and could not be happier with how the stable have run this year.

Absolutely delighted with my first ever place!

One World was a gallant 4th in the Ladbroke!

I know it's only a place but for me it feels like a win, next aim is a top 3 three finish and maybe a win later in the season.

Congrats to all winners and placers and huge thumbs up again for everyone involved in making the league happen.

P.S. Commentary was fantastic!

My first winner :D and it came in a listed race and not a handicap! If only bonfire could jump well every time and not normally hit every other fence and then he might be good!

Really pleased for follis and Lewis, well done lads. Keep plugging away and your first and second winners will come. Great to see new trainers enjoying the league.

And well done Greaver. That's an impressive total if you're a new trainer? I don't want to jinx you but you should get to ten mate.

Thanks to Kev and Gray for runnging 30 races each this week and to Davy for the comms. And of course to Leon for all the stuff with TOM between his uni work.

A Grade 2 win and Grade 2 second for me. Very pleased with the second as the horse was carrying 6lbs more than any other horse (G1 penalty). The win was bizarre, the horse hammered into a fence about 6 furlongs out and looked completely gone but somehow managed to come back.

Thanks for running all the races guys!

Got my first winner in the Huntingdon marathon, roll on aintree. It's strange my homebred hurdlers would be better employed on blackpool beach but my gamebred staying chasers are competitive and I appear to have a couple of national contenders.

Review of week 5 runners:

Race 2: 17 days later Handicap hurdle 2m6f: Oak Diamond Rose:4/18 AWFUL ride this week. If she hadn't been dropped out so far I think she could have been in the placings, probably have won it. She will be aimed at another similar race, maybe a step up to 3m at some point.

Race 6: Sandown Handicap Hurdle 2m7f: Oak Ruby Orse: 3/18 Challenged a little early for my liking up that hill, but it was a good run. She will be aimed at similar races.

Race 8: Sandown National 3m5f: Oak Blazing Rose: U/18 Unseated at the first; didn't even get a run! Hopefully she'll drop in the handicap a bit and will be aimed at similar contests.

Race 10: Huntingdon Marathon 4m1f: Coco Palm Ii: 13/14 He was far too keen all the way and was allowed to race too handy, tired in the final stages unsurprisingly but it was a promising run and I'm looking forward to running him again on better ground.

Race 12: December Gold Cup: 2m5f: Oak San Rose:4/18 A great run and if it wasn't for a bad blunder at the final fence he would have been much closer. The trip was slightly too far as I expected, he'll be stepped out of handicap company for his next run I think.

Race 13: Stan James International 2m1f: Oak Crystal Rose:11/14 Outpaced like I expected, and she was held up right off the pace which wasn't ideal. Hopefully there will be a more suitable race for her next week and she'll drop a little in the handicap.

Race 14: Unicoin Homes Relkeel Hurdle 2m5f: Blazon Ii:3/17 His run confirmed my view that the good ground two runs back at this course didn't suit him. This is more like him and providing the ground has 'soft' in it he'll be aimed at all the top 2m4f races.

Race 16: Noel Novices Chase 2m3f: Chick Ii: 6/13 Really pleased, he jumped brilliantly again. He'll be aimed at a similar contest again, maybe in a lower grade if possible.

Race 18: Ladbroke Handicap Hurdle 2m: Oak Rival Crystal: 14/16 Got worked up before the race and was outpaced as I thought. He'll step back up in trip hopefully for next time.

Race 22: Moore's Millions Stayers 3m2f: Forest Viking: 1/19 Great to win a race after last weeks bad performances! The drop in grade helped him out, but I still think he'll stay further. Providing he doesn't rocket up the handicap he'll be heading for the Welsh National next.

Race 27: Betfred Pools Handicap Chase 2m6f: Oak Diamond Currency:3/16 No match against Kev's horse carrying no weight and she seemed a little outpaced from 5 out. She stayed on for 3rd which was pleasing. If there aren't any mare's races for her I'll look at stepping her up in trip.

New uploads. I have been too busy to play. But have a few better ones

Samhein.

Much better than Storm Canyon so expecting good things.

Azeroth

Good over 2m2/ 2m3 both hurdles and chases

Golden Lands

Excited about her prospects. Much better than Coat of Arms so may be able to make an impact in the Juvenile races

Stone Town

Replaces Pretty Unusual who has been disappointing. Not sure if he will be good enough but races up with the pace which may help

Beach Hotel

Versatile hurdler who is better than Chain Ladder so should make his presence felt

Half Term Stable Review NATIONAL HUNT

ALICEDALE New upload second national hope to Mubaah who might be burden with to much weight stable needed another stayer he was a better jumper than Drum Taps in trials so got the nod.

BASIC INSTINCT Tough genuine horse best effort was 2nd in the G2 Ascot Coral Hurdle two runs back fell in Fighting Fifth too high for handicaps hoping to pick up a listed or Group race somewhere.

BELFAST CHILD Hasn't shown is true ability in the league is well Handicap Chaser and will win a race somewhere and might pick up a big handicap yet.

BIG BROWN BEAR Chaser thats not well Handicapped but runs well in Handicap chases might switch to listed group company to try and find a race.

BIG SLEEP Only had three runs so far this season 5th on debut looks like he can win a race but finding it hard to find a race.

BUCK NAKED Win came in Listed race over 3miles has struggled in group races since but will try and find another race for him.

CASTLE IN THE SKY Placed in last weeks Ladbrooke Handicap hurdle means a rise in the weights but will now be Aimed for the County Hurdle at Cheltenham.

COMEDY OF ERRORS Third in a Novice Chase Followed by second a listed hurdle last week means will be burden with weight in both codes so will take listed races route to end of season.

FACE THE FACTS Mistake to have been uploaded as a 4y0 as his 7yo version is about ten length's better been running well without winning except last weeks poor performance always finds one or two to good handicapped out of any chance of winning a handicap so must stick to top races for the season.

GREY BEAR Has run two great races this season and a couple of dire races to any mistake it makes seems to end his race and tails itself off or Pull Up might try a longer distance but will take his chance in the King George VI chase at Kempton first.

GUEST APPEARANCE New Upload will take the Novice Hurdle route for the Season Hoping to pick a couple of Races.

MILK HEART New chaser on the block comes from off the Pace although stated a 2m 4f on Upload stays Much further and will run over a longer Distance.

MUBAAH II Main aim for the rest of the season is the Group 1 Paul Moores Chase at Cheltenham will run in the National what ever happens with the weight he will be alotted one they will all have to beat if he stands up.

MY TONY Has run well in juvenile hurdles races main tarhet is the Fred Winter which will mean wont probaly run again until Cheltenham to protect its handicap Mark.

NED FLANDERS Won a Handicap Hurdle by seven lengths two runs back beaten when stepped up in company will find it hard to win again this season but will stick to 2m 4f group races.

NIGHT NURSE Placed twice in good company will stick to group race hoping to find a weak group race over 2m somewhere.

PENZANCE Good win in the Fixed Brush handicap before finding the drop in trip last week against him will stick with 3m handicap hurdles for the rest of the season.

PERSONAL TOUCH Another Handicap Hurdler that really needs further than 3miles but races over hurdles other than group races are few in the league so struggles to get competitive until the race is nearly over.

POTTY TIME Only three runs so far well handicapped chaser waiting for the right race to come along to expoilt her Handicap mark but needs to brush up on her jumping which as cost her so far this season.

SILVER BUCK Always runs a race but not up to scratch but has been saved for some small handicaps.

SLAVE TO THE RHYTHM Three runs in Novice company two seconds and a Fourth in between means hes not top notch might now a novice chase route.

SISTER FEELINGS CALL Might need further now than the 3miles 2Furlongs its been running over puts in to many slow jumps which as cost him races this year.

SOLAR CLOUD Ran some solid races over 2Miles 4Furlongs this season and now waiting for opportunity to strike in a handicap.

SOMEONE SOMEWHERE Second on debut in a Maiden Novice Hurdle been novice chasing since without much success is a better hurdler so will pop back into that code only had 3 runs so far so should be competitive back over Hurdles.

STAG PARTY Three runs unseated fell and down the field well handicapped one of my best 2mile chaser so should win a race if jumping holds up.

TIDE IS HIGH Another Chaser yet to strike some form but confident will find a race for her.

TROOP THE COLOUR New Upload 4yo Juvenile hopeful truimph hope looked good in CK beating a few already uploaded and been placed in Novice Hurdles so should ran well.

VILLAGE PEOPLE Been running well without troubling the judge due a change of luck.

WINMORE LOSELESS Not my best 2mile Chaser yet won a listed race so hopeful that both STAG PARTY and POTTY TIME who where both suprerior can win races.
