Horse Files, League Rules and Forum Rules
These are the changes that will be enforce from today.
Horse Files
After consulting with Mark it has been agreed that: Horse files will be checked at the start of the season and at uploads. A horse file can't be tampered with any way. If you alter the horse file after it is exported from the game you will be expelled from the league.
Please do not insult our intelligence by trying to upload a horse file that has been changed in any way as it is very easy to spot any changes.
Cloning
Only one horse can be uploaded that was born in the same year by the same parents. Example horse with Parents horse1 / horse2 and born in 2015. You can not then have another horse with the same parents and born in the same year. A horse born in 2016 for example would be fine but not the same year.
Other peoples games
You can not use any other persons games, tff files etc to start your breeding lines. It is really easy to spot this and this will result in expulsion
The Forum
Any person found insulting, accusing and attacking another persons personality will be suspended from the league for a period ranging from 1 week to more depending on the seriousness of the post.
If you have an issue with someone. You can email me. If you have accusations to make. You can email me
These measures may seem draconian but it seems that this is necessary to bring some order to the forum. People are entitled to state their opinions but this must be done in a constructive civil way. All accusations must go through me. If the accusations are found to be true then they will be posted on the forum
The season start dates for the league remain the same. Trials commence the weekend of the 23rd ( Trial Uploads will open about 5 days before this )and the new season start on either 31 August or 7 September depending on Tom.
Hopefully this will be the start of a healthier forum as I have better things to do than police a forum.

Re: Horse Files, League Rules and Forum Rules
Sounds good, rules are now clear and there for all to see. Just a question- say on the off chance you had exported two horses to one game but then kept them in the original game as well, and you bred horses from them in the year 2015 of 2 different games and then included them in your team, does this count as cloning?

Yes that would be a clone. You can see the parents in the lineage.

I cant in my case because some of my horses are only in CK and not in my game, I don't have some especially my sprinters because I don't use the tttf files system, I just use my 15 game spaces and when I run out my older horses have to go to make way for my newer ones. I think u would have to tell me if there are any clones but i'd doubt that I would have any. I'll have to keep a eye on my horses from now on.

Fire CK up and under horse files (same screen where you option to create race) you can then click on the L and see the lineage. You can't see in from the CK screen of course but it does allow you to look at exported horses.

Re: Horse Files, League Rules and Forum Rules
If you haven't got someone to do the handicapping it will ruin the season. SO5's handicapping is awful. Personally I dont think someone that tries to damage the league and start some sort of hate campaign about current trainers should be allowed anywhere near the league, or even enter it.
You need a schedule as well.

You need a schedule as well. why keep bringing this up Matt i thought all this been sorted between u2 why dig old issues up why keep going over old ground Joe did a fine job with the handicapping last term thought the sched was finished a few days back Gray has already stated he is willing to do handicapping if there is no one else

I must have missed Joe's apology to me? Maybe you can show me where it is?
If you mean the schedule sirius posted, you don't have a schedule.
