Post Re: so5 godolphin operation
Just got back from a week away in Crete, some interesting developments and stories in here. Enjoyed reading the progress made Paul, and John really pleased that you've managed to get some quality horses.

I did say Paul that Diocletian was the best horse I've ever had for breeding wise, he is in the lineage of almost every top horse I have over a variety of different trips, he is some horse, just the league kit doesn't get to showcase his ability as well as I'd hoped.

Hope to have a little mess about tomorrow and see if I can breed one or two.

Be interested to see if I could beat these superbeasts by breeding exclusively to my own horses only, I wonder if that's possible? Could be a fun challenge.

Paul that is so close to the Track Record for Epsom, I'm sure u can do it.

If the track Records is 2.28.89 and 2.31.74 how much faster do u think we could go.

Jamie what is u track records for those courses.

I've not had time to bred any horses I've been prepping for SO6, the US side needs lots of changing and I thought I would do it before it comes out.

I never really trialled Epsom but anything under 2:29 in the kit is very good.

Ascot I was regularly hitting around 2:31.80's in the CK from memory. Anything that breaks 2:32 is very good though.

I honestly can't remember, Heisenberg would certainly be one of my best, from memory I may have one or two better though but it's been so long since I've trialled and bred for that distance. I'll have a look when I get a little time and see what I've got.

I had that when I was breeding my sprinters, I had 13 2yo+3yo sprinters in my 2 league teams and only had 1 colt, I was always waiting for that colt to come along to improve my horses but sadly he never turned up.

Paul if u have a race can I send my front runner Silkwood to make the pace, she cant run a monster time but she is tough to get past if she leads. She would be a monster league horse.

Superb stuff Paul. Diocletian is probably the greatest horse I've bred in terms of ability and his ability to pass it on.
