Re: SO6 Mods - What People Will Be Working On
Not aimed at anyone this statement but.....
I admit it can be frustrating finishing no where all the time but it is a game!
If you are unsure if its fair just do not play.
A lot of players expect big things when they play the league and they are disappointed when they get a battering.
Is it because these people expect to join a league and dominate from the start? Some players put days and days of time into there horses so of course they will dominate!
When immediate success is not forth coming is it easier to blame it on cheaters Etc rather then finding out what would help them in there chances for success?
It does bug me when players can not be bothered to learn more about the workings of the game or even study up on what would help them achieve a bit of success.
I know from experience that there are plenty who are willing to share there secrets to success, If you want to challenge then you have have to be willing to put in the effort to get them wins.
League looks like it has taken a big step forward from when i played so congrats to all those who have made it work.

Re: SO6 Mods - What People Will Be Working On
Not all the league cheaters have gone, far from it in fact. I wouldn't enter if I were you until the anti-cheat software has been created for this version of the game, and then only on the condition that Mark is the only person with access to it.
Wrong anti cheating software as you call it was created for SO5 and is now impossible to cheat the 3 League season in so5 were clean why would you say there are cheats taking part Throwing such accusations around with out grounds or proof is very unhealthy
I never said there was cheating going on in the last three seasons and SO5 has nothing to do with anything I said, being so defensive is very unhealthy! However some of those that were caught cheating are still around, I was simply pointing this out to the individual that believed all the old cheaters have gone. For those thinking of returning for SO6 I would say, as I've just stated clearly, it would be unwise to do so until the anti-cheat software is in place, surely you'd recommend that too if you want to reassure people the league is safe?
My horses are running on bread and water and a little bit of paracetamol. What anti cheat software are u talking about and if u say cheating is going on then please tell all.

I'm doing a US track expansion (adding in a bunch of North American tracks... Taking suggestions) Probably also another GFX pack (like my SO5 Start It Mod) If you are going to do an American track expansion, can you please do Philadelphia Park? (Now usually called Parx) I was very disappointed to see that it wasn't included in the tracks on the game...it is my home track, after all! And I would love to create a mod expanding the horse colors and markings that are available in the game, if that is possible.

I will be releasing it a few days after game release after testing (if adding tracks is possible). I have all its graded stakes races in my schedule I'll be releasing as well.

Anyway I cannot edit any DAT files as when I open them in notepad, edit them then save them i'm getting access is denied. Is there anyway around this as I want all correct jockeys, jockey weight and trainers in my NH game, also can I add more trainers as I see H Fry and D Skelton are missing. Its a walk through video to help new players get started granted it shows you how to use art money (which id say 90% of people used in so4) there is a huge difference between using art money and hex editing horses to win races in an online league Me or anyone using Art money did not effect other players and gave you no advantage when it came to the lge i was not even participating in the lge in so4 anyway. It is impossible to use artmoney in so5 i just have no idea what your intentions are here your post appears to be just trouble making or mud slinging guess that's what you get for trying to help people anyway my conscience is well and truly clear
