Sorry lads but its best that everyone knows about this, its a major exploit, every horse in transfer files can be edited and put back into game which mean as long as there is a transfer pool, even horses uploaded via the game could be edited. Need a full new transfer system or some way of detecting which im not sure is possible, or scrap .ttf files. Better to start dealing with it now than 5 minutes before a league is due to start.

Agree no use burying our heads in the sand this has shown there is little point even considering a league at the moment
Thanks for testing Doc

Agree Doc, thanks for highlighting this again.

scrap .ttf files - we don't need them. just play the game, make game performance representative of ck/league performance so no need to trial, as you know your game superstars are your league best (this is also better as you do develop a soft spot for your best game horses!) - and voila, game is enjoyable and everyone can compete in league.

Dont think this is how the league will run. Maybe we should have suggested changing the way breeding works when we were playing SO4. Hang on a minute...........

The breeding needs a complete overhaul. I think we should all breed from the same horses, online breeding pool, and it should be made easier for those who can only spend a few hours a month breeding to maybe get one superstar.

The best people to decide how the league should work are those with experience playing it, with all ideas put forward to Mark to understand the practical implications.

Why aren't the stats of horses meaningful in the game? Can this not be worked on - completely pointless having them otherwise.

God I can't believe this issue still hasn't been resolved after all this time, extremely disappointing this. Will there ever be a solution? The fact this can still be done even without an export facility is quite something.

How would we test our horses? Anything that can be done not to test horses but still be able to pick the best would be a huge step forward.

horses stats bars and game performance should be representative of league performance.

Why would I have a superstar miler get beat off one of my average milers when I put them in the CK - it makes no sense!!

Imagine playing football manager, getting Leo Messi and then playing a network game and he just trips over his own feet all the time and is no better than Tom Cleverly - it's absolutely ridiculous.

If we can trust our game performances and times, we can trust putting those horses in our league squad.

I for 1 would like to see no transfer pool all files locked and if opened it shows up in the breeding lines of all offspring then the offender be hung drawn quartered with their head being put on a pike on London bridge or is that a bit much?

I Agree ditch the ttf files its the only way

Or a gamebred only league and that might not be great

It would be nice if it could work that way, the problem is that in game performance can be effected by slow run races and really inferior competition which gives incorrect results, this is why the CK was needed. It would be nice, as you say, to trust our game performance and times, if we can do that then your suggestion should work.

Well there can not be a league with the way things are setup now. Gamebred league sounds pretty boring to me and I cant see it attracting too much interest.

I cant see many ways forward but to completely change the breeding process for league horses. Online breeding barn is the way to go.
