Gray It is supposed to be paint. I am horrible at moving terrain so instead of doing water how Mark does it, I just paint over using a water texture. While it may not be as realistic, it allows for the designs to be more exact.

Quote: Just an update on 2.21: Just finished up Turf Paradise and the desert track really adds something different to watching the races. Looks pretty cool seeing sand all around! Looks good. I meant to give you kudos earlier for the canoe at Saratoga! Can't help but look at it every time I race there. Now if it would just change colors every year....

Saratoga is probably my favorite course I've done. I think I teared up when I put the canoe in haha! That is one thing I wish could be added in, different colored entitites. Would love to have blue and red tents, or even different colored grandstands (the red Pimlico stand). Also, I'm changing the gates to add signage above the gate openings. Sadly won't be track specific but I'll make a bunch of them (Breeders Cup, NYRA, Santa Anita, TVG and HRTV, Royal Ascot, Champions Day, Melbourne Cup, just to name a few).

 Re: Start It 2.2
2.21 Update: Just finished Fair Grounds this morning and Charles Town yesterday (had some extra time). Began to expedite the process where now it takes about an hour and a half to make a course (new record!). Going to start Pimlico now and hopefully have time to get Calder in. Arlington Park will most likely not come until tomorrow. If I keep up with the pace I am at right now, probable release is tomorrow afternoon.

Any plans on making Oxford Downs? http://www.paulickreport.com/news/ray-s-paddock/florida-sham-racetrack-a-mockery-of-the-state-and-sport/Quote: There was pari-mutuel wagering – usually about $40 was bet on each race – through a United Tote machine set up in a cricket-filled portable shed. I'm expecting you to recreate the cricket-filled portable shed ~ complete with crickets.

Haha! I remember reading about it on "opening day" and how they had programs without names originally and said that names would be coming soon... I think the portable toilets might be a tough add. Maybe Mark can add that into the next Editor update. That a crickets!

 Re: Start It 2.2
I have some general questions. Can i combine your mod with others? and if so, which one fits best with your mod?
And if i start a new game and u release a new version, do i have to start a new game?
Thank you for this mod and your work, i really appreciate it.

Thank you for this mod and your work, i really appreciate it. I haven't had a chance to try out too many mods (due to making courses, schedules, silks, and whatnot) but The Duke's Schedule Atigger's Global, and if you want a different US schedule, SiriusChill's US/Canada Mega Schedule work (although they do override my schedule, they do work nicely). Just about any mod will work with some, if not all parts of my mod. The main thing is just making sure everything matches up (course names, showcase names, etc.). There aren't too many discrepancies however. Of course any graphics mods are compatible and any silks as long as they don't have the same number as mine. As for starting a new game, for the next 3-5 updates, you won't need to. They will be course updates that will work with old and new games. However, if I release any schedules then a new game will be needed, but any old game will still work even with changed data (thanks to SO6 games saving their data files so we can mod freely). Also, any courses that I make that add new tracks to them (like how Belmont and Saratoga have two turf tracks, one more than the usual one) that requires a new game in order to use the second track, but not to use the course with just one dirt and one turf. For the most part, old games will still work.

 Re: Start It 2.2
Calder has just been finished. Arlington Park is next. Expect release in about 5-6 hours. Included will be my TVG skin. Also, I am working on expanding my US schedule to include all the listed stakes from every track as well. I'm not sure how it will work with 1400+ races but will try to put in one. If not, I will make region specific schedules that will include the base schedule along side all the listed races from that region. Will probably be ready in a few weeks or so.

 Re: Start It 2.2
The region specific schedule is a nice touch. Although my nags are usually too good for listed level that they never run in the listed races. With my Maryland specific schedule though the Rollicking Stakes for 2yo's at Pimlico fits in perfectly and I regularly use that as a stepping stone. Pretty cool seeing the Maryland Million card on the schedule too.

 Re: Start It 2.2
Maryland is my stepping stone to the Preakness for my lesser horses. My top 3yos use Aqueduct for the road to the Derby while my lesser three year olds target Pimlico races, usually the Federico Tesio is the small goal. As for my 2yos, the main ones stay up for the NY circuit while the lesser ones head down to Calder and Gulfstream. I like using the listed races mainly for once my stable gets huge. In SO5 without listed races, my 60 horse stable had quite a lot of trouble finding races, especially when 50 of them are Grade 1 winners. Would definitely step them down to listed if it gave them good races to run in, instead of having to put 2-3 of my own horses into the races. Trying to get them to the Breeders Cup was even worse! Imagine how to get 40 horses into two days of racing, especially when they all love 10f!!! Oh the trouble...

 Re: Start It 2.2
Still on a two horse stable - with 148 open stalls! Good thing my two just one both BC Juvenile races! I prepped the listed races to follow the usual paths which really adds to the realism. Also shuttling down to Colonial for a much needed turf race is helpful for my turfers.

 Re: Start It 2.2
Start It 2.21 is now released. Enjoy!
Make sure to delete the original track folder before overwriting so there are no problems. Included is also a TVG Skin. Copy and paste the gfx folder (within the TVG Skin folder) into your Starters Orders 6 folder. Don't forget to backup your gfx folder.
