 Re: Start It 2.2
MJ,
Love your Monmouth but it kills my framerate so bad. On almost all courses I get over 35 framerate, but Monmouth is so intense I get framerate about 15-20. Would it be possible to make a less tree intense version?
Thanks again for your work!

Thanks again for your work! I'll see what I can do. I knew when making it that it would be super intensive on systems. Even my computer barely ran it. However once turning off crowds I was able to get a lot higher fps. I'll make one with less trees sometime tomorrow and post it here. But I will tell you that you are very lucky. I haven't gotten higher than 20 fps on any course, Marks or mine. It doesn't bother me too much as I'm used to it by now and usually fast forward anyway but I wish I was was getting 35+!

 Re: Start It 2.2
Thanks, I appreciate it. Your courses are great!!!!! I usually edit the track and cut the amount of trees down and that gives me greater framerate. I cant even get Belmont post 9.14 patch and your new Monmouth to open in the editor. They just stay loading for an hour til I cancel it. They look great in the game, wish i had a faster, stronger computer!

So what I did was cut down the trees and replaced a lot with just tree pictures instead of the realistic ones. There are a lot less details in the track than in the full one, however it works. I left the crowd out so that then you could open it up in the editor yourself and make any changes that you would like, and then all you would have to do is add in the crowd, which isn't too hard. Hopefully this works out for you!

 Re: Start It 2.2
As you've resurrected Great Leighs in the UK as part of the mod, just wanted to let you know that its name has now officially changed to Chelmsford City, so the Great Leighs name will no longer be in use. Just wanted to let you know, in case you wanted to add a simple name change in your next update. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/horse-racing/28305784Also, and apologies if this has already been brought up earlier in the thread, but is there a reason why the "Floodlights" line was removed from Kempton and Wolverhampton in the UK _courses data file in your mod?

Alright, I'll change the name in the next course update. And I had no clue there was a floodlights line in the courses file. I'll look into it.

Alright, I'll change the name in the next course update. And I had no clue there was a floodlights line in the courses file. I'll look into it. It looks like you've used an old version of the UK _courses data file, as it is also missing the 5f sprint course at Sandown, among other things. As it stands, the UK _courses file in your download won't produce any evening racing at Kempton, Wolverhampton or Chelmsford City (Great Leighs), and if any of those courses is given a feature race in an evening slot over the winter, the meeting will be run in daylight! All you'd really need to do is add the UK _courses data file that comes as standard with the game into your next download, and add Chelmsford City to it... with a "Floodlights" line.

 Re: Start It 2.2
A few other things, as I notice them (I'm currently adding some of your US/Canada mods to my UK schedule - the courses you've made so far are excellent!)...
The updated, post-0.914 files don't include the 3D/courses files for Meydan, with the updated name. This means that if anyone is new to these mods and only downloads the ones at the top of page one, the data files that include Meydan will not be compatible, as the 3D/courses file will still show as Dubai.
Also, the "Floodlights" line is missing from the Dubai, Hong Kong and Ireland _courses files, where they should be included for Meydan, Sha Tin and Dundalk respectively. You also need to update the French _courses file to include the second course at Chantilly, which was recently added. I know that some of these differences don't directly relate to some of your schedule mods, but they could potentially cause compatibility issues for people with other mods.

 Re: Start It 2.2
Alright. I will make these changes as soon as I can. I will need to wait for the next patch so that then I can make the necessary changes since I don't have the changed files myself.
