Post Potential bar question
Can anyone please help. This might be a dumb question but i am quite confused with the potential bar. The realized potential (light green) is higher than the absolute potential (dark green) on one of my horses. Does it mean that the horse has over achieved? Surely the absolute potential (dark green) is what you should be aiming at, with the realized potential (light green) slowly reaching the absolute potential point race after race. Correct me if i am wrong. I am so confused.

Thanks PJ. Does that mean that both the light green and dark green can go up? And how come the realized potential is higher that absolute potential? Does this mean that the Absolute potential (dark green) is what the horse has reached, while the realized potential (light green) is that max that the horse can reach? or is it the other way round?

I don't think this is a dumb question. I think my confusion comes in with the explanation next to the bar. To me, the dark bar should be the potential that the horse has realized, or achieved. The light bar is the amount of potential that the horse can get up to, or the absolute potential. So, I feel like the explanation of the colors is backwards. I could be reading it wrong though.

Read it the same way and got confused early on but realised how it worked after a season or so. Should be a bit more clear to save newbies any confusion though.

Yep. I am pretty sure I know how it works. I've played for a long time, but every time I read it I kind of second guess myself and wonder if I have it right. haha
