I think a 1m 2f/1m 3f horse won't struggle at all at this distance, given the lack of pace and last 4f being downhill and favourable to near the pace horses.

Should be an intriguing race!

Please can I have 50 win Australia and 50 win dubai millennium. I was debating on letting him run, because his optimum distance is 1m2f but I agree with cat in that it will suit a speed horse coming off the pace and their being a down hill. I did a few trials on the course and distance and he came out top everything in all conditions. That's not to say he will win this though. good luck to you all

I'll take £25 on Sha Tin Emperor and Strong Banter each to win since they both blew my horse away in the races. I'd like £50 e/w on Australia, and £50 e/w on my beloved Miss Swan too just because she ran better than expected and the extra distance should suit her.


Miss Swan was a closer who apparently now loves to set the pace She's won the Triple Crown in two different saves, and a G1 winner from 1m-1m4f though most comfortable at 1m2f. Loves the dirt tracks but won handily on grass too. Don't think she has big chances to win, but I think top 5 is a possibility here so just interested to see how the rest of the field adapts.
