These are great Gray many thanks

Bit of a mixed bag for me delighted to get a trial winner in both codes Douvan won really well and The Bullett won the sprint
most of my flat team did well the NHC team there were some disappointing runs but sticking with them not going to
be breeding any more

well done to James looks like you will be a big player on the flat side

well done Leon winning half the NH trials means you will be odds on for the crown

thanks to all the team well done to the other placers and winners good luck to all for the season

and well dont to the commentator brilliant as always

I will add betting markets for the Flat National hunt and dual code championships over next few days
in DCC Thread

I think Ghost is still favourite as he had a 50% strike rate and came second last season and won the season before that. Hopefully I will be able to challenge. Gray had 3 seconds so should have a chance as well. Your horses will perform better on other courses.

Looks like I have decent flat stayers again. Ad Leones also ran well considering he ran a course wide early on, and should be in my league team as 1m6f horse. Hussar Market doesn't look like he will make it as I have better now. Hopefully I can win the Gold cup again, last time I won it was back in SO3 but I have an incredible 2m4 horse so we will see

Flat title looks interesting

U can't disagree with the bookie, they always know best. :D

I have 0% interest in the championship's, I wouldn't run my horses in the big flat h'caps the last week of season 2 when I was leading and I'll do the same again this season.

If the championship is won on prize money Steve's clear fav because he's going to dominate the 1m4 division and that's where the big money is.

I can change the championship to be a log based on a points system like Gray did if people want. Just let me know what people prefer prize money, wins or a point system

I wouldn't be to down on u jumps because horses have good days and bad days plus not all races will be run with that many runners, results can/will be different in the league because of the way the races will be run. It's one of the reason's I never take trial races that serious and never have that many runners in them. What's the point in getting down after they have been run and might not have run that well, my motto is trust in u breeding and how u do things.

I like the points system, something like what gray done. Then it's more about consistency than straight out wins/money. It could give more people more chances to be champ.

The second season where I won the champ u would have won it on a points system even though I won 12 more races, u had a lot more place position's than me.

Personally I think it should be realistic and be done on Prize money/wins, you could run the points system alongside though that would be good. Happy with the trials, went as expected... looks like my sprinters and classic distances are well off the mark but based on the performances I reckon I have 3/4 horses that could be competitive at Listed level or above. Only played for 30 seasons over the last month or two to build my team so can't expect much!

I agree with Nick, I would rather it be realistic

I think it should be based on Wins myself to be top trainer you win a National and Gold cup but you might have less winners so I have to agree with big mac it should be on winners not prize money.
it would be good to have a Dual Championship Table in TOM.

There is both a wins and prize money table in Tom. I can add a dual code championship for both wins and prize money if wanted.

I agree best to be based on wins

if done on prize money the flat trainer champion can be crowned after meydan

The problem with wins is that in the past trainers have exploited handicaps to gain extra wins. Ideally the trainers competing for the championship should not be doing this, but that is what happened in the past.

Flat stables were reduced to 20 and championship was changed to prize money so that this would not happen and as a result handicaps have become more open and have been won by a variety of trainers

I can't see trainers like Ghost, Pj or Jalupen going down the handicap route horse's would carry to much weight and those days was even before i started playing in the league the league has moved to a more open game with more and low handicaps where before it was dominated by the best races and the trainers back then have also moved on i can't see Jalupen uploading handicappers lol just to win he's likes to win the best races like the derby and has no interest in handicaps that are 0-80.

I reckon it should be wins but i don't care what it is because i ain't winning it

Gray

Me neither Id be happy with a top 5 finish in flat
I think theres a good few ahead of me i really had my very best in the trials best at each distance
theres a very good chance some top trainers held there best back.

As for the championship happy to go with what you guys decide
