 Re: Stable Tours
2yo
Fly On*** 5f-6f Hold up horse. Won pre-league trial race at Dundalk. In most of my trials she is last halfway, but has devastating last furlong pace. Needs a strong pace to win races.
Appreciate*** 6f Very consistent. Not sure how good though.
3yo
Frederick**** 5-6f Solid sprinter much better than Best To Ever Grace who finished 3rd in Trial race.
Distance****** 6f-8f Stable Star. Best horse I have had on any Starters Orders game. Beats all of my other sprinters on the bridle. Can win races at 6f-1m.
One Dime***** 8f 2000 Guineas horse. Much better than Terrain who won a trail race.
Simply Kind*** 8f 1000 Guineas horse. Can be as good as One Dime but not very consistent in my trials.
Wonder Escopeta***** 10f Very consistent. Much better than Mayone who won a trail race. Best horse over 10f+
My Red**** 12f Derby Hope. Not sure what to make of my horses over this distance. My horse in the pre-league trials finished 3rd but was a long way behind the winner. Don't think they are as good as my sprinters.
Miss Escopeta*** 12f Oaks Horse. Again not sure what to make of my 12f horses. Not as consistent as My Red.
Volatile*** 14f Hold up horse. Stays Well.
4yo+
Drive By***** 5F-6f Better than Frederick, not as good as Distance. I think I have a great team of sprinters though.
Pour It On**** 8f Best 4yo 1m horse. Hopefully can pick up some good races.
Dilalil*** 7f-8f Inconsistant.
Clownsee**** 9f In the team for the 1m1f Dubai race.
Special Game**** 10f Dubia world cup/Breeders cup horse. My best horse on dirt.
Twink*** 10f Solid type. Might pick up some mare only races.
Little League*** 12f Most consistant 4yo 12f horse I have, but not sure how good my horses are at this distance.
Diamondee Thug*** 12f Could be anything.
Simply Sweet*** 14f 5yo Mare, hold up horse. Closely matched with Volaitle. Not expecting much.
Tarayn Signalman* 16f Hold up horse. Worst horse on the team, hopefully can get a low mark for the Melbourne cup.
Overall, my team is a lot better than the horses in the trials so I should hopefully pick up some wins. I'd do a write up for my national hunt stable but they are mostly flat cast off's.

 Re: Stable Tours
If that was your "B" team in the trials then the rest of us mere mortals are in serious trouble

 Re: Stable Tours
My Best horses. Allegreto: My Gold Cup horse, will only run in 2m4 races. Comes alive in the final 2 furlongs with a outstanding turn of foot. One word, Special. College Chapel: A 6 furlongs specialist, loves to go to the front and should give the best sprinters a run for their money. El Gran Senor: 7 or even 8 furlong 2yo, if he gets the race he wants he looks brilliant. His running style might not be suited to the league though. Monashee: My top dirt horse, it's the kentucky derby all the way. That's the only race that matters.
The Good ones. Keen Hunter: Always finishes in the top 4 in every trial race. Will run in every 5 furlong race. Elbio: Another 6 furlong speed ball, not far behind college chapel. Tapit: Will go the the dubai world cup. Zafonic + Damson should be running in all the good 2yo sprint races. Entice: My best 1m2 furlong horse, will need to have pace in the race to show her best. Grasshooper: My breeders Cup Juvenile horse, will have some fun over 8 or 9 furlong races before his big target the juvenile. Vintage Crop: Will run in the 2 mile races, by far my best horse over the distance but will have to see how he stacks up against the other horses.
The Average ones. Warrshan: My top 1m6 furlong horse, he could be good I'm just not sure until he's run. Mill Reef: My 2000 Guineas horse, I've not been happy with my milers. He's a very in and out performer at best. Golden Option: Will run in the 7 furlong races but is very average at best. Generous: My derby horse, would be delighted if he finished in the top 4 of that race. Reference Point: He should be average but won his trial race well and perhaps he suited to how the league races are run. Reckless Abandon+ Lady Of The Desert are 2yo sprinters, Reckless might be good but sadly Lady looks very average. Laila Alawi: By gamebred superstar Salt Lake, I had to have one of his horses in my team so he's just a fun horse. If he's not group class he will be aimed at the Ebor.

 Re: Stable Tours
Flat Stable Tour
Top Prospects
Gates of Dawn : Best horse I have bred on the flat for ages and possibly my best ever. A potential superstar. Game of War : Should make his presence felt and Doncaster Cup is the target Man at Arms : Outstanding 2 mile horse. I won the 2 mile trial but he is substantially better. Command Performance : Versatile mare can get 12f to 16f but target is the Irish St Ledger over her best distance. In Bloom : Heading for the St Ledger and have high hopes
Of the Rest my older horses are better than my younger ones, which is pretty standard for me so not expecting much from them. Hoping my older horses will pick up the odd group or listed race between them. Doubt my 3 year old's will do anything but aiming to at least get a runner into the classics. I have 1 sprinter, Khoisan and he may be ok, because he is much better than anything else I have but that is not saying much. I breed so much jump stats into my sprinters which clearly affects their flat ability but benefits my NH string. My 2 year old's should perform ok but again placing in group races is the best I can hope for.
Only 1 horse from the either trials made my team, Albingensian, a 7f / 2mile chaser who ran in a 6 furlong sprint and performed well enough so my 2 mile chasers/ hurdlers should be ok as Superhero won his race and I have quite a few better than him. NH preview will follow later on.

 Re: Stable Tours
Well I finally got around to uploading my stable. I expect to again be middle of the pack this year. Can't see winning any grade 1's. Maybe one of my horses will surprise me. Some thoughts on a few of mine...
Kentucky Derby Hopeful - Great Cross. His race is the Derby and once again I have Ghost's horse to battle. Solid place chance I'm hoping. Has a big rally.
Dubai World Cup Hopeful - Strawberry Fields. Maybe gets a check. I just hate not running in the big race.
2YO - Open Up I am hoping can win multiple races.
3YO - Naharra is a nice sprinter.
4yo - Word Up and Dafiya should be useful types.

 Re: Stable Tours
I see in TOM in the hurdle races trainers comments for their hurdler saying "champion hurdle". What exactly do you mean by that please?

 Re: Stable Tours
I'm guessing they mean that's what race they are aiming for with that race Sirius!
Finally uploaded mine, squeezed 30 flat seasons into a month and both of my league teams come from that so not expecting much really, would be happy with a bit of black type.
My best are probably - Fatal Zeo - Awesome horse and untouchable in CK over 1m1 and 1m2 and most of the time 1m4f too. 3 lengths better than anything else I have but that's not saying much! Hoping to be listed class.
Starzilla Quay - Nice stayer 2m2-2m4, always been strong with stayers and think he's a nice type although didn't get my hands on stayers until late in my game so not tested him against much.
Death Rattle - I think this could be the best 2 miler I've ever had. Won 2 Melbourne Cups off top weight, hard enough to win it getting weight. Won a few Ascot Gold Cups too and a monster in CK. Like Fatal Zeo could look awesome at home but nowhere near as good as the top trainers so listed level plus is what I'm hoping for.
Captain Scarlett - first horse to really put it up to Fatal Zeo over 1m2 so must be quite useful
They are the 4 that stand out, my game consisted mostly of sprinters and milers but not very good at producing good ones of those and the trials were very tough to split. My jumps team could be diabolical, I've sent nearly a full team in a case of lobbing as much as possible at as many races as possible to try and nick a win somewhere

 Re: Stable Tours
That makes sense and I guess I should have figured that out. Would that race be the Punchestown Champion Hurdle on week 12? or maybe the Aintree hurdle? Everyones wants it. I want it now.

 Re: Stable Tours
Thanks Gray.
Any thoughts from anyone on what the game thinks? I am trying to quickly come up with a bumper horse and I have a first time starter about to go. On the flat side horses with form usually are the favorites over first time starters. With this first timer I have the race is filled with horses who all have started before. One is 3 for 3 and there are others with wins and places. Yet my first timer is the huge favorite. This never occurs on the flat side.
EDIT - My horse barely hung on to win.

 Re: Stable Tours
Just trial your flat milers amongst them there should be a good bumper horse. The NH game tends to have bumper horses with too much stamina for the league and they get outpaced.

 Re: Stable Tours
I am but my flat game is US based so I have very few 2 mile horses. I am looking for stamina in the jumps game. I have something brewing now that I am breeding with.
Bumper horses in league are basically the same caliber as 2 mile horses in the flat league I'd imagine right?

 Re: Stable Tours
No your 1 mile horses at a push 10f horses but generally any 8 or 9 furlong horses. So just trial your flat bred 1 mile horses over 2 miles NHF in the race kit

 Re: Stable Tours
I have noticed your have some older horses over the shorter trips 2m5 and under in your stable. Not sure how you getting horses to get those trips at those ages because I can't but in general the 5 and 6 year old versions are better over the shorter trips at a push a 7 year old. Over the longer distances 3m3 and up than the older horses are better, 7 and above occasionally a 6 year old.
Also you have a number of 4 year olds, in general the 5 year old version is often substantially better in NH
Obviously you need maybe 2 4YO's for the juvenile races though.
