Just wondering is the Windsor Castle Stakes supposed to be a handicap?
Usually its a listed race.

Yes Jimmy it was Made a 0-90 Handicap for lower rated 2yo's

That makes sense. Gives people who don't have the best horses a chance to have a royal ascot winner.

Why is this race a handicap? The title says conditions stakes.
Why not run it as a conditions race or a listed race.
This is a really good 2yo race and shouldn't be a handicap in my opinion.
It was main aim of one if my horses but its rated too high and can't run now.

This was and as far has I know Peter in the past been Limited to horse's under 100 ratings that are not good enough to win Group races and too high to win Nurseries.

P.S hence the word Conditions limited to 100

In real life it's a race for horses rated 0-100 but its not a handicap.
I don't have any 2yo's rated below 100 so doesn't make a difference now.

It's not a handicap the 100 rating stops horse's over that rating entering it will be run has a Conditions race.
