 Re: League Weekly reaction
A couple of good Cheltenham runs with Northumbrian Belle and Archenfield. Archenfield led over the last in the Kim Muir but could not quite hold on. He deserves to win a big race, keeps hitting the crossbar.
Only a 3rd on the flat, I did have a winner but I have already mentioned this in the stewards room as it should not have ran.
Just 1 more day to get that Cheltenham winner I crave

 Re: League Weekly reaction
Well it was looking like one of my worst ever weeks, the flat team were particularly disappointing but then up pops Philipstown Vienna, my first ever Cheltenham festival winner in the Fred Winter. The unexpected ones are often the best. Congrats to all winners & placers and to all the team involved.

 Re: League Weekly reaction
Not much for me this week, Fatal Zeo 5th in the Cambridgeshire when it looked like he was steaming home, just not found the right race for him yet. Saracen finally showed some form when 2nd in his race but the improvement was expected in this class. Shocking week over the jumps with my best chance at Cheltenham just making the top 10 in his race. Think we'd better scrub this week off the board and move on to next week.

The racing in this league is very competitive at Cheltenham, and over moon to have won the Arkle. Anything else is a massive bonus!

I'm sure I'll look back In the future to what my horses achieved and be proud. But that will be for another day. Congrats to everyone whether u won or not because lots of work goes into our horses.

 Re: League Weekly reaction
Decent Cheltenham so far. Won the Grade 1 Champion Hurdle Monday with Fascinating Rock. Won the Grade 1 Champion Bumper Tuesday with Swain Song. With 4 wins this season, Swain Song looks to be the best bumper horse around. Hopeful of more Grade 1 success today.

 Re: League Weekly reaction
All in all for where my stable is at I had a good week on the flat with two seconds, a third and a fourth. Achiever got me excited in the last race of the week - hit the lead strongly at the half furlong but was overhauled. Well done to Colin Clarke's horse!
Good week and well done to all the winners and players and especially to our new caller Nick Driver and Mike! Also hat's off to the lads behind the scenes making this all possible!

 Re: League Weekly reaction
UKRA
Great win for Maryland who makes it 2 from 3 starts winning the Prix De Conde Group 3 Stakes now onto St Cloud
Jean Claude Ellinoux (6 Furlong horse) Came 2nd in the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere
A great 3rd for Sand Vixen in the Prix De L'Opera Logines
NHC another frustrating day not even a place at Cheltenham Never Surrender ran well at Fakenham 2nd in the Sea Pigeon H'cap Hurdle
Cheltenham Review Any trainer would take Any winner at Cheltenham and the team bagged 2 handicaps but on the whole was a very disappointing week the 2 mile chase division let us down badly that was the big hope for that Illusive grade or group one also other big hopes ran shockers River Donn picked this week to put in his worst performance of the season. I feel more relived than anything because without Tuesday i would have drawn a blank at the festival. Chin up & time to move onto Aintree were we are very hopeful Colombian Coffee can bag us the national will be very competitive of course & I May have raced him once too many times but should be well in.
Well done to the winners and placers
thanks to the team & handicappers for contuied hard work
Have to say the comms this week were the best to date just amazing
Good luck everyone at Aintree

 Re: League Weekly reaction
Another Grade 1 with Danehill Dancer in the Paul Moores. 3 Grade 1's at Cheltenham. Great week topped off by a win in the Midlands National. What a great race and call that was by the commentator. Will be going for the Grand National next.
