Please don't forget to mention during the commentary that I have had a bet at 1000/1 with honest Paul Rhodes bookies on my horse Delorain, especially when it wins :) :) .
I believe Steve (Teleprompter) and John (Ghost) also availed themselves of the price.

He will be running of a mark of 117 in the race but when I have more time I will explain the rating. Our two handicappers, who both do an amazing job, take a different approach to horses running from out of the handicap.
101 is rather nice though :)

It was a handicap so I always raise a handicap winner by 7/10 or 15lb depending on the manner of the win regardless of whether they are running out of the handicap or not. The 2nd was probably 146 because he was rated 130odd before the race and I work it out to 1lb a length so if a horse is won a race off 100 and the 2nd was 100 if there was a 5 length gap the 1st would be 110 and the 2nd 105. He's probably 101 because he was rated around 80/90 on previous runs and I've just raised it 10lb. I probably should look at those coming from out the handicap more but it's not caused too many issues so just happy to keep it as it is! As long as there is a good mix of trainers winning races and I've already handicapped up a few dead heats so that'll do lol.
