 Re: League Weekly reaction
No Cheltenham winner for me this year, my 2 main hopes fell.
Had 4 make the money overall.
Congrats to James Harrison on his Gold Cup win

 Re: League Weekly reaction
Wow what a week, probably the greatest week in Ghostzapper Stables history.
I was delighted with Allegretto winning the Cadran , I thought she might be the best horse I've ever trained . She will comeback next season to try and win the Ascot Gold Cup.
Mike I loved the commentary on this race. Good morning , Good Afternoon and Good Night.

Allegretto is an absolute machine. Got a rating of 140. The only horse to achieve that so far and can't see anything else getting near that rating.

She's a freak, her breeding is odd because she by a unraced sire. Probably the only horse to come from that sire. Her final 4 furlongs times are out of this world. My other stayers were over 2 and half lengths behind her.

 Re: League Weekly reaction
A good Chelenham for me this week. Had 2 winners. Dinho in the 3m novice and Top Stalk in the Gold Cup. Top Stalk is my best ever Jumps horse. Beats everything else in my trials by over 2 lengths, he has some sticky jumping though which may be a problem next week at Aintree.
On the flat Elusive won the St Ledger, thought the distance might be too short as its only won over 2m in the league so far. My 2 year olds did very well especially Noctal who makes an even better 3yo and will hopefully come back next season. Do horses that return keep their form and rating? Also congrats to David Robertson on his Arc win.

 Re: League Weekly reaction
It ended up being quite a good week, got a second festival winner in the Martin Pipe, like buses , and a flat winner. Biggest disappointment was my star horse falling in the gold cup when I thought he had a chance and best performance was a sixth place in the Arc which was a major suprise, I'm usually tailed off in the group ones. Congratulations to all winners and John who had an exceptional week. Now for Aintree and the one race I target.

BREAKING NEWS:
Sutherland fires assistant trainer for forgetting this weeks entries. News is emerging of a parting of way between Joshua Sutherland and assistant trainer Harry Kehry, apparently after the declarations list for week 10 was not correctly faxed to the racing society league. Sutherland was said to be furious for missing the fabled Cheltenham festival and has taken swift action. It is thought that head lad Hugh Jazz has been promoted to the role following this weeks fiasco.
In other news, local Chinese takeaway 'Fongs' has been stratching their heads following a number of strange orders with deliveries no more than 8f away.........

 Re: League Weekly reaction
Whatever happens now I couldn't care less but the Death Rattttllleerr! What a machine this horse is, despite my Ascot Gold Cup 1st and 2nds previously that is my best win in the league ever and over the moon. For the horse to win 4 times from 2m to 2m2 is a huge achievement and I'm just lost for words. He'll probably be near top weight in the Melbourne Cup now but that win will do me for sure. If he wins the Cup though I will lose the plot! Poor elsewhere but couldn't care less!
