Post Re: League Weekly reaction
A down day for my jumpers but a up day for my flat team.

I was delighted with Laila Alawi winning, finally got a win for game bred Salt Lake.

And I'll never know how Reckless Abandon won the Cornwallis, was miles behind and flew the last furlong.

yay my first online win race 1 day 2 - Over The River - I know it was a low rated race but it's a win none the less :)

Oh and Pimbury 3rd later in the day - a very good day for me today

thanks for the great comms and the whole team for all their usual great efforts.

NHC
Only one place to start and thats with the Grand National Im so proud of Colombian Coffee
a close up second ran a cracker just found one too good on the day congratulations to John his
horse won fair and square and was giving weight to my fella but still very pleased to come so
close. The comms were exceptional and very life like well done to the lads.

Chesterton ran a cracker to win the Mersey Novices' Hurdle G2 and won very well

You wait all season for that illusive group/grade 1 and then 3 come in 2 days courtesy of
Titalist who won the Maghull Novices' Chase G1 and THEN another one comes but seriously
the Jockey on Haffaway STOPPED riding in the final quarter furlong and was lucky to end up with the
dead heat when she should have won a few lengths seriously bad ride im just glad to get out with the
share of the Aintree Hurdle spoils not a bad way to break your Maiden tag in a G1

Stephensons Rocket & Jimmy Dean also go 2nds today

UKRA
Very quiet day not many runners sad to see Di Stefano pulled up injured on his big day

Congratulations to all the winners and placers

Thanks to the team & handicappers

Thanks to the lads for the wonderful comms Grand National was a great listen

Haha Paul :-)

Finally cracked another winner in the Ladbrokes Marathon Final with Du Dordogne who led all the way. My other horse in the race, Andiamo Bussa raced wide all the way to be a close 3rd. Probably would have won if it was able to sit two wide or find the fence.
But awfully chuffed with Du Dordogne!

Well done to all the winners and for Gray who pieced together the calls for the GN.

Managed to get my first win in this year's league with Hawaii. Really pleased with that, it was quite a shock.

Congrats Jester and SuperCat!

May it continue.

Was it your first ever SuperCat?

My memory is not the best.

Well done john on the National I will try again next season the one jump race I have yet to taste victory I think your horses (Jumps) are way above most other trainers horses and you don't run them every week it means if they did your horses would dominate the jumps thank god

Thanks. Not first ever in the league. But first this season, not bad considering I only entered in the transfer window and have forgotten to enter my horses for at least two of the weeks since then!

Thanks Gray. It's the first time I've won one of the big three races, it's the perfect end to a bleeping awful month. I think this season's jumps has been as competitive as any season I've been involved with.

And boys it made the Grand National even better with the different commentary's. Well done. :D

Got my best result in the Hunt with a 3rd to Caffe Via.
Hit the lead near the half and I'm thinking it's going to be a boil over but not to be.
I actually thought it had a real chance and picked it in the second leg of the tipping competition.
Almost :-)

Well done to all the winners and callers and all behind the scenes.

Two more weeks to go.
