Josh I won't know the number of races but if you had 10 it would be 5 Flat and 5Jumps it would come down to how many race runners I get I will also pop in and do some yes Doug it was a movie from my youth its was Comedy/Soft Porn with some good background Music from the 50's 60's era we rented it on VHS when videos was a big thing to rent and being young and very interested in music I rented it.

I am Still looking for race runners and a Handicapper we are two Race runners short although I have had interest in someone doing race running its seems his Anti Virus deleted the Race Kit and now he can't get to use it so I still only have 2 race runners I need at least 3.

Dangersteve if you still doing the flat handicapping can you let me Know I will need your e-mail address so I can add you to Dropbox and give you Admin Rights to the Handicapping on TOM remember you will need to alter the Ratings in the Horse Files Manually through Construction Kit and then on TOM.

The way the race kit handicaps horses is absolute rubbish we need a manual Handicapper to adjust the ratings otherwise we end up with Group 1 horses getting low ratings.

Honestly Kev I think it might be delayed Josh is struggling to get the race kit to run so you and ghost only at the moment so that means I got to do some then I got to sort the horse files first then upload all the races with any coms to You Tube.

Dangersteve hasn't replied to the message above about sending me his e-mail to add him to Dropbox so might not have a handicapper for the flat so that means I might have to do two flat and jumps its just to much Kev lmao

Is trailing that is delaying my last attempt to make the kit work a game uninstall and reinstall, as per marks suggestion. Don't want to do it in case the game has the same issue after, least until the league team is in. Hoping to know around Wednesday or Thursday this week.

U cant do it all, unless other people are willing to step up to the plate then we shouldn't have a season. We all got busy lives.

I would hazard an educated guess and say that it is Norton flagging the kit as a false positive and deleting it/placing it in quarantine that is causing all your problems with the racekit so I don't think re-installing will help tbh. Game will reinstall ok but racekit will still be flagged. Have you tried creating an exception so that it doesn't scan the racekit.

Select the "Settings" tab.
Select "Antivirus" from the Detailed Settings field.
Under the "Scans and Risks" tab, scroll down to the bottom
Locate the "Exclusions / Low Risks" section
Next to "Items to Exclude from Auto-Protect, SONAR...etc" click on "Configure [+]"
A window should pop up labeled "Real Time Exclusions"
Click "Add" and browse for your folder/file. You want to select the so6kit1079.exe file you extracted and placed in Program Files (x86) - Starters Orders 6
Click "OK"
Click "Apply"

I had the same problem last season. Norton and Avast was stopping it working, a right pain in the backside.

Even now I have probems with it, I have to open the race kit in game because my desktop wont bloody open.

Tried adding the exe file to the exclusion list, same issue, tried adding the whole folder to the list, also too no avail. Had previously been trying with Norton auto protect disabled anyway, and the error remains directX sprite shader, Norton may have started the problem in auto killing the original version I had working, but I am not convinced it is the root cause right now. Still remain open to suggestions.

As I have said before would like to help but have a very basic laptop (not good enough to run races)
and have no clue how to handicap horses.

I have to run my game on the most basic graphic setting and that puts the laptop fan on full blast.

The handicapper job will be the hardest post to fill as you need someone who knows the ins and outs of
handicapping doc was very good at it in my time but i doubt he would offer his services.

surprised more race runners have not come forward as Ghost said until these posts are filled we should
not have a season as Gray has a big enough workload.

Should I not be able to sort the racekit issue, I am happy to have a crack at the handicapping post, will be a novice attempt mind, but the logic between lengths and weight is simple enough especially in jumps where it is more linear than flat in terms of race distance. More difficult is working out the performance figure and how this converts to a actual rating, but I have only scan read around the subject to be honest.
