Re: Trainers Thoughts & Reviews
just one winner for me which came on the flat
Joan Jet Won a listed contest early in the season but has been hugely disappointing since She came home like a train in the Darley Stakes G3 at least she will go out a group winner She will most likely go to the breeders cup next.
Congratulations to the winners and placers huge thanks to the team and to the brilliant commentators best of luck for the final 2 weeks of the season wow its flashed by

Re: Trainers Thoughts & Reviews
very happy to win the national this week, i probably owe a lot to my other horse verge winning the group 1 at cheltenham ensuring that my winner was running off virtually bottom weight. he has been exported a year older and ready to see what he can do off likely top weight next year.

Re: Trainers Thoughts & Reviews
Not many runners today but a G1 victory on the flat
Seychelles Bred especially for this race and only ever trialed on this track and wow a special performance there won very very well perfectly timed ride by the jockey to win the Criterium De Saint Cloud by over 3 lengths which brings up my 24th G1 Victory of the season on the flat and the first by a 2YO so delighted I have the set now G1 victories with 2,3, & 4YO's.
Huge thanks to the team and the commentators (Very nice debut Ryan) Congratulations to the winners and placers and especially john seaford jnr on your maiden win well done mate

Re: Trainers Thoughts & Reviews
3 breeders cup winners on day 2
Park Royal 10 races 8 wins and now a 6 time Group 1 record beating my record which was set by dame Helen Mirren who won 5 in season 6. She has been such a superstar and had to be brave to stay the final half furlong needless to say she is the apple of my eye sadly I only exported her at 3 and she is now gone but the memories of this season will live long only beaten once over 5 furlongs giving alot of weight away virtually unbeastable over 5 in G1 company she is a one off I'l never have another like her.
Joan Jet Been there or thereabouts in G1s without winning one and then the penny finally drops in the breeders cup distaff. with every single one of my league team being American bred I was hoping for a good Breeders Cup and it seems Joan Jet should have been campaigned in America she flew home Delighted she goes out a G1 winner.
Johannassohn The must mindnumbing frustrating horses in my league history I mean I have gone grey over this filly before today 10 races 2 places and seemed to get outpaced in every race got to the stage where I had no idea of her best trip was even ran her in the Irish leger I can assure you she was thrown in here without a second thought just to have a run and OMG she finally breaks her maiden tag and decides to do it in a G1 on the biggest stage. She becomes the 12th horse in my team to bag a G1 and takes my season tally to 27 in Group 1 races. So chuffed that she fnally showed something and goes out a G1 winner.
Huge congratulations to the winners and placers massive thanks to the team & brilliant Commentators.

Re: Trainers Thoughts & Reviews
3 Winners for me on the first couple of days play including a BC win
Hanghu leary - Winning his second race of the season, an somehow over 1m6 off top weight. Been so consistent this season, an as he's a 3rd or 4th Gen bred I'm very happy with how he's performed in the league, and how a couple of his offspring have too, one of my favourite horses despite not quite being good enough in the top races, always being about 3rd or 4th.
Hefei Delta - 4th in the Breeders Cup sprint despite needing every inch of 6f so it being too short, was closing a lot at the end, ran a blinder still got a massive soft spot for this horse
Toronto Valois - No idea how it's eventually won a race, but won it well off a big weight
Xinyi Player - Showing her class again in the Breeders Cup sprint, never seen a sprinter hit so much traffic having been held up, and still win so well. 4 group 1s in 6 starts now, and a 2nd in another that but for the jockey she'd have won too. such a shame I was a season short in my game for her to get her in the original upload window or it could have been an exceptional season for her.. Absolute Superstar daughter of Hefei Delta. She's struggling a bit in the trials at home nowadays so not sure if she'll be back next season, but hopefully so. Hoping she can grab her 5th group1 next week as she likes Flemington too

Re: Trainers Thoughts & Reviews
2 Winners on the final day of the penultimate week
Zero Tolerance Bought in during the window and this race was his only target needless to say when he came round the final bend 5 wide I thought his chance had gone but he really took off he has some turn of foot and seems to love dirt. This was a huge win because I have now caught and gone a little ahead of Leon on prizemoney even though the championship is decided on wins its a nice bonus being in with a chance of winning both not that it matters classics only matter to me but its would be the icing on the cake on whats been an unbelievable season for my flat team especially my 3 year olds who have now won 26 G1 races and have totally blow me away.
Final Termination A 3rd graded win over the sticks and a 20th victory in the NHC to boot which is double the number I expected. I have to say its been a really tough season campaigning certain horses that you pretty much know are not good enough to win a race but patients do pay off even if you have a bunch of very poor horses multiple wins are possible.
Huge thanks to the Team and thanks to the commentators well done the winners and placers John they are like buses you get your first win then another comes along well done mate and Ryan the winners keep coming so glad you stuck with it mate and your comms are great.
Best of luck to everyone for the last week.
