 Breeding question SO7
Hi
Hoping somebody can clear something up
So I’ve got a breeding barn and a stud farm now at my stable
My mares have a list of International Sires they can breed with, this list seems to never change, or hasn’t in my first 2 seasons by the looks
Do I get chance to breed my mares with different sires or do I have to retire my own horses to the stud farm? There seems to be a great deal of data behind the scenes on the breeding tab but the list of International sires seems my only options to breed, am I missing something or is that the lot?
Cheers

 Re: Breeding question SO7
The game retires a certain number of horses every year to stud duty, presumably based upon algorithms that sustain the proper demographics. You should see additional/new stallions at the start of each new season.

 Re: Breeding question SO7
Thanks Mark, that makes sense
So to clarify unless you use your own studs/colts you can only select from the list which is below your list of mares under the breeding tab?
You can’t go to another stable and select a stud etc, it has to come from that list under your available mares?
Cheers

 Re: Breeding question SO7
Correct! You have to initiate a breeding from the sires list vice directly from the stud farm. That said, I did a cursory review of 15-20 studs from different farms and they were all included in the sires list.
