Re: Schedule issues to sort out next season
I think a lot of the lower rated handicaps that are run in Ireland or abroad really need to be switched over to British tracks. This was the main issue when handicapping, and there doesn't seem to be a great need to keep them on those tracks. Every single foreign handicap has to be adjusted currently on the flat, it becomes a lot of work, when the racekit handicapping in general seems very good. I barely touched a normal race on British soil

Re: Schedule issues to sort out next season
Don't know if you still want to know about things people notice.
Week 1 - there are 3 races that are available for novice hurdlers over 16f but only one race over 20f for novice hurdlers.
Also, there are 4 races 0ver 19f, 20f, 21f for open hurdlers, do we need so many?
I know you can't accomodate all possible options in the early weeks, but perhaps this could be a possible change.

Re: Schedule issues to sort out next season
Week 3
I only noticed this because of there being no races for my horses.
There are no races over 16f for Open hurdlers but there are 4 races over 19f and 20f for Open hurdlers.

Re: Schedule issues to sort out next season
There is still a big problem with long distance Chase races. This issue has been brought up before but has never been fully addressed.
I uploaded 3 horse whose best distance was 4 miles plus, possibly one too many, but I wanted a choice of horses to enter in the Grand National.
They have all won races in the first 3 weeks and are handicapped so high that there are no races for them until the two big big National races at the end of the season and they are both h'caps.
There are plenty Group races at lesser distances, what about some straight up Group races over 4 miles?

Re: Schedule issues to sort out next season
Could we add the 2YO 10 furlong Zetland Stakes to week 11 next season? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zetland_StakesThere's very little 10 furlong races for 2YO, and I feel it would be good addition.

For Gray or Leon - Are the schedules on TOM fully up to date for this upcoming season?

Re: Schedule issues to sort out next season
We probably need to make a few tweaks based on recomendations above. But no new races will be added. Probably just some small changes to better balance races in weeks. BY Sunday they will be final

Re: Schedule issues to sort out next season
Bumping this as this race has not been added and the schedule is still greatly lacking top 9/10 furlong races for 2YO's. The Zetland Stakes should replace the Flamingo Cup Dirt2 a 0-70 handicap at 10 furlong in week 11. The race had 3 runners last season and is therefore a waste of time. A group 3 10 furlong 2yo race would be much better for the league. Zetland Stakes 2021: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_1nYpefEOQ

Too late to change now. We will see how the entries are this season but reluctant to replace lower rated handicpas with listed races

Re: Schedule issues to sort out next season
No there is something wrong with the update. haven't had time to fix but not a big issue. Each week is correct I just have to add totals together in the db. Haven't had time will update this week

Re: Schedule issues to sort out next season
My horse won the 2yo maiden over ten furlongs week 1 there has been no race for him since wonder can something be added/changed seems a waste having him in the stable the first 7 weeks Maybe a 9 or 10 furlong listed or conditions race pointless running him over a mile he would get totally outpaced
Just a thought
