Maybe it should be fine for totally new trainers to join the league anytime
but not returning trainers that can turn up and dominate at Royal ascot and also kill all the rivalry battles that happen from start
at the min the window week 7 works well with royal ascot beeing in week 6

On the jumps side its impossible to have horse rivalries last from start till the big meeting Cheltenham with it not being till week 10
(Cant have no window season is too long) but it still works well because with the window being week 7 we still get 3 weeks of horses running on the build-up to Cheltenham
but like real life too will be good to see horses come in and take realistic paths to Cheltenham because a lot of good horses don't run till Christmas irl

Now going back to the poll
I voted for Transfer Window for everyone ONLY to fill spare stable slots only
but im not sure now is it that bad to keep it how it is
I didnt take into account the extra work for Leon as he says and do we all really want to be left with them dud horses for 13weeks would be so annoying
and we are all in the same boat too we should all use our retirements for new horses and new mains to keep the interest

Any extra coding involved for leaving window open for weeks 1-2 and weeks 7-8? or is that ok?

Looks like this will change and the transfer week will only be to fill stables and for new trainers.. No code change is required. All Gray has to do is not allow retirements.

My time is going to be limited soon and I can't work on the site so any league changes have to take this into account.

Seems like the best way forward given the votes and the lack of code changes required.

Whether we get another season we need peace in our time , we need to be singing from the same hymn sheet.

Pretty one sided vote so it should be implemented but all depends on what would have to be done in TOM

Leon has been busy and will change over the season this weekend the Vote has to be Validated otherwise we be dealing with another Johnson Dictatorship so all i have to do is not open Retirements which means if your Stable is Full Week1 that's it you can't upload anymore.

So you have to leave Spaces in your stable to be able to upload in the Window then you will abled to upload 5 in each Stable so this will be carried Forward unless i am told Different.

So, your saying you can only upload 5 in the window ? even if you have only entered 10 horses for example at the start of the season ?

I assume the PRESIDENT is the validator ? otherwise whats the point of a poll or president....Especially if there is no coding change required by Leon.

No Stu lol sorry if you have 10 you can Upload until stable is Full i was saying about Trainers with Full Stables at the beginning like me so if i want new recruits in upload window i will have to leave Spaces.

Correct PJ, no more retirements in the break, only to fill up empty slots if you do not have a full stable at week 1.
