Cracking 1st day and Darren Thompson gets all the plaudits with an impressive 4 winners on the day.

With most of you picking both Josh & Darren, points for all but if you also chose Gray Clutterbuck as well, who picked up the most points for the day (Not sure how I made the mistake of Gray in G4 & treble points) you are sitting pretty.....

So my mate Martin is leading with an impressive 475 after day 1 with Paul in 2nd, close enough with their differential picks of Alex C & Kev M. getting them the extra points to lead.....John & Vinny follow with 400 +

And the Festival Leader board ................... 7 individual winners, could of been more if DT had not been so selfish

Very surprised I had 4 winners was defiinitely not expecting that!! I'm sure it won't be the same the rest of the week

After Day 2's eight races and 2 DH's sharing the winning enclosure, John's picks puts him in 1st place but only 30 points separating the top 4, with just 8 races to go.

A further 16 DNF's on day 2 making a total of 33 so far, which knocks out Gray, Martin & Conner's chance of the bonus points.





Darren is joined at the top by Josh & LVR both along with David H collecting 2 wins a piece on day 2. New entries, include Gray, Craig & Tom Rogers all getting wins.

Congratulations to Martin who takes the Charity tipping comp with a top third day from his picks, Del & John tie for 2nd, the wooden spoon goes up to Scotland with Dave R in last place.

There was no 100 point bonus as a total of 44 Dnf's, which no one guessed correctly, but both Padraig and Del had chosen 42 so it was close... and of course Del would of won the comp if so. (just rubbing it in Del )

So Martin gets to choose the charity, lets hope its doesn't go to Retired heavy metal guitarists!

Lastly well done to all those who got a winner at Cheltenham, Champ trainer at the festival is tied at the top with 5 wins a piece for Darren, Leon, & Josh (hope your feeling better)
