What exactly did you delete?

If it was the SO7 system files you can re-install them. You should have had an email when you purchased the game with all the dowload and instal info. If you don't have this email, contact SO support and they will send you the info.

If it was your saved games, have a look in the recycle bin. If they are in the bin, click on the file and select the restore option.

If the files are not in the bin you will need some specialised software. I use a free to download program called "Get Data Back".
It comes with an online tutorial. Basically it scans your hard drive and any recoverable files are listed. Select the recover option to get your files back.


You should get into the habit of ALWAYS making copies of your save files. I make two copies at the start of every season, one to a removable hard drive and one to a USB drive.


Every saved games has 5 files associated with it, depending on which slot the file is saved in, the number in the filename changes. The files are:

1.sav, 1.sax, ext1.sav, in1.idx, o1.idx
