I know my boys and girls well, they won’t like it one little bit. The ebbs and flows of the league. My NH on the other hand have no such excuses this week. It’s bang on for many.

Week 2, day 1 was a mixed day on the flat. Two winners and lots of places but there were a couple of races where I would sack the jockeys.

Island Dance, my 1000 Guineas horse again showed she could be a real threat in the Guineas with her 2nd win of the season and Classic Action ran on very strongly to win the Tattersalls 10f listed race.

My sprinters are serious contenders in the league this season but they appear to be slow starters in the league. The second week running that one of my sprinters has started slowly and been trapped with no place to go in the final run in. Echo Mind's jockey in race 9 is not getting paid this week.

Unless my horse is a natural front runner, I always upload my horses with the instruction, "Don't Lead". Too many of my horses are going to the front too early and being run down in the final furlong. In my trials at home this instruction seems to work well but in the league it is being ignored.

I was not expecting much from my 6 horse NH stable but Town Sculpture ran on to a nice 2nd place in race 12's 2 mile maiden chase.

A very good day for David Robertson on the flat, I think I counted 3 winners, well done.

Congrats to all the other winners and a big thanks to the commentators and those who work behind the scenes.

Thanks Jim it was actually 4 winners which I think is probably my best days haul ever.
Eurobus Bliss won the 2yo Brocklesby Stakes.
Kate Moss won too easily in a 2m1f handicap, hope the handicapper didn't notice.
Pillbox Hat won the Tatteralls Sprint.
Hammerhead and Banner Tasse were the first two home in the Yarmouth Maiden over 1m.
The less said about my NH horses the better.

Disaster of a day, Titanfall and Texas Gin were very disappointing. Back to 2m and a trip to Sydney likely for Titanfall. Hoping for some major respite from the handicapper, my 3YO classic horses are as always an absolute mile off the pace.

Over fences, Devil's Plan ran with plenty of merit, as well as Yokohama but the rest, it's a struggle.

Well done all winners. Thanks all helpers!

Ok day for me on day 1 flat. Easy Destiny was a big disappointment, but he even hates Good to soft at home, so Heavy wont have helped, especially front running. He'll be back hopefully for bigger prizes.

Miracle of Maldives staked his claim for the Guineas by winning the Craven, although, I just cant see him having quite what it takes unfortunately in a massive field

Having only uploaded my NH team for week 2, it seems I made the right choice as I wasn't going to bother. I don't think I've played it since during the last league season. 3 winners an 3 seconds is a good start though, an hopefully I'll have a couple of competitive horses throughout the season

Thanks to all race runners an Comms, doing a great job as always

Week2, day 2.

A great day on the flat with 4 winners. A G1 winner and 3 maiden winners.

I was most pleased with one of my sprinters and most disappointed with another of my sprinters.
I felt that Druid Light was hard done by in week1 by getting boxed in and was not able to show his true ability. This week he had the perfect draw and with a very nice turn of speed in the last furlong won his race comfortably.
The most disappointing of my horses in the first two weeks is my 5f sprinter, Freedom Charade. When I uploaded my stable I thought she would be the star of the stable. That's horse racing and the league for you, just never know which horses will succeed.

A drop down in distance from 6f to 5f for my 2yo Classic Crusade proved to be a wise decision in a 5f maiden.
A surprise winner at 1m 6f for Lexicon Wood in a maiden. After week 1's poor performance and rated at 65, I never expected her to be in the top 5.
Gemini Trick in the heavy ground at Rosehill won the 7.5f G1 race. Second in week 1 at Dubai in a 9f race. Can't wait to see how he goes at his best distance of 8f.

Congrats to all the winners and thanks to the heroic effort of the comms team to get the races done today. I had a quick peek in dropbox about 9pm and the majority of flat & NH races still needed to have the comms added.

Had been raging so far after 6 x 2nd places so far this week. (I’d rather finish 5th than 2nd!). Until I won my first Grade2 admitally a handicap but I don’t care with Ruud Attitude in race 25. Still a long way from my target of 40 combined wins this season. But after week1 I’m hopeful I might get close. Thanks to the team running everything

A marginally better day two, came closest to my first win of the season with Bullet Beatrice in the Listed 7f race, I imagine the race wasn't realistically Listed quality however. I thought she was one of the weaker ones in the stable. Leipzig Lady ran a belter over too short a trip, World Government ran with merit, Clash Of The Titans continues to be a major disappointment. We did pick up some prize money in NH but that was 3rd in a 4 runner race ha, the rest woeful as expected.

It is only Stu who uploads comms to dropbox, the others email me them

Week 2 And had my first winners in my combined stables with a nice Double of the jumps yesterday with Horror Show and Highburys Daughter who is the daughter of my double winning Prix Du Cadran Winner Nothing on day 2 didn't expect Much has Decided not to enter a National Horse or anything over 3m 5F this season And a all the way win from Allbetsoff kick my Flat stable with a win on Day 2 at Epsom. My only goal this Season is to beat Martin for winners in the NH has Stu does have crappy Jumpers lol.

 you’re not wrong!

First winners on both codes for me so far, the hunt win was NH flat but a wins a win, thought Bible Pleasure (fto) looked like a reasonable stayer, the rest you can write off, but at least I know what lines not to follow.

But my flat horses are still on the up and a couple of winners so far, Bob's Bond looks decent, wont stay the mile or beat any of the top trainers horses, so I wont waste the entry in the Guineas.

Vert Alert got the "Very unlucky" quote on the card in the Black Caviar G1 (5th) so I am hopeful she's gonna win soon, ill try her over 6f next week.

Got a few handicap flatties to come today & a returning winning 5yo that cant lose on soft

Decent day 2 for me on the flat with 3 winners, nothing of note over the sticks

Velocity World - 2 from 2 now, stepping up from a maiden to win the Grade 1 over 5f. Always looked my best at this track an my 5f horses look really strong this season

Sensational Knight - 2 from 2, both grade 1s now for this one over 1m2f. I really thought this was more just a consistent sort. But both wins have came from running very wide the whole race. Looks like it may have some wow factor too

The Giant Causeway - Surprising winner for my 2yos from my old game. They aren't very good, but if one was going to win, it was likely this
