 race previews/sopl times
hi everyone. Had the unfortunate news that Jay doesnt quite have the time to remain editor of the SOPLtimes. We will be waiting on finding out who will take over the responsibility but it would be a great help if one of you league trainers could help out writing a couple of previews each week.
In the meantime I have 3 previews for the Old Roan, the West Yorkshire and the Haldon Gold Cup if anyone wants me to email them on. Redeyez is also working on some previews for the uk league and i believe fixit is working or done some usra ones. Hopefully the SOPL times will be carried on by someone else, but im sure Jay will be missed and I hope he can continue in the league and hopefully have more time to spend on here aswell.

Jay used WordPress for managing the SOPL Times. If anyone else knows how to use it, and got the time and willing to take over the running of the paper, I can forward the admin details for updating the site.

Hi Everyone
I am going to set up a blog site for the starters orders league.
It will be the new SOPL Times.
Anyone who wishes to write on the blog will have access to it.
It is open ended, that means you can just go on and write under one of the headings provided.
If you want to be part of this exciting opportunity LOL! please put your e-mail on this thread and I will send you the details.
It is pretty easy to use and looks great.
I will act as editor only - it is your site to do what you want with.

Steve, I have the domain name http://www.thesopltimes.com which I bought for Jason a couple years ago.
It hasn't been used since Jason switched it over onto the SOPL server, I think inside blogspot you can point your website to this domain name?
Just let me know what nameservers I have to direct it to and I can point it to your blog as it would be an easier url for many.

Hi Jamie,
Apologies for not replying earlier.
Unfortunately the blog site has developed a mind of its own so the plan now is to incorporate everything into the Racing Ahead newsletters.
Thanks for the offer.
