I can only apologise if you think the first 3 are a major issue. Others disagree, which side of the fence do I fall on?
Interestingly the last of those is not fact. There aren't any race secretaries who have said they will be continuing next season. The league is a package, some people prefer the NHC, some prefer UKRA, those two as a minimum will need to stay.
So again I ask, you are selfish enough to think everything should be done to suit you and yet you do not offer your time? To those who have given their time over the last season I have approached individually for their opinions on how we should take things (I don't need to publicise this fact on the forums do I?).

Aha, we get to the bottom of the issue.
If you aren't happy with this decision then you don't have to take part.

That is not the only issue as you suggest but it is a major one - why didn't you set up a poll to see whether Luke Wilson should continue in the league.
The decision should have been democratic not autocratic.

Because in my opinion he did not break any rules but merely went against the spirit of the league (like those that geld then crash the game, those that amend the schedules to find the best horses and those trial against each other before the league starts, none of which have been mentioned).
You don't like the rules? Then single player is for you.
edit: In fact it seems that the only reason they were singled out is because they were part of the wrong clique. And that mate, is bullying. Something I will not stand for.

That's been argued to death and I want to keep this thread as free of that as possible.

I'd never spoken to Luke and Jacob before and spoken to Jamie about 2 times in the previous year. So no. And that's the last of it.
Sorry HR, too many people are against it returning this season. It would risk the league falling apart. I hope you can understand, it is obviously not what I want to do.

A patch will be released early this coming week. Horses exported from this coming patch (and any later patches) will be eligible for the next seasons races.
The problem is that security improvements cannot be applied to the current seasons exports (or any horses exported from the game up to and including the current patch 1.0179). Obviously this is why the feeling is that it is best to finish the current season now and start again. I can understand that this will be very annoying to those who have worked hard on a stable that can no longer be used. This said the descision to end or continue the current season is up to league staff.
The new system will see security checks run here and not by league staff. So there can be no question that anyone has access to software that may enable them to overcome any new security measures or gain any kind of advantage. Anyone found trying to cheat following the new measures will no doubt be banned.
Quote: Now, I have to speak from the heart, there are elements of the league who get me down. Some of you know me, I never get depressed over real life issues but unbelievably I've had to come online to feel bad about myself. There are some really nasty things that have been done, two faced, spiteful comments, this cannot continue. If we aren't having fun there is absolutely no point in doing this.
This is important and the cause of problems in the past. The guys who run this league are volunteers so please treat them with some respect. Decisions concerning the league will always be contentious to some. The players who play are in it for fun. There is no financial gain. So everyone should be pulling in the same direction. If you are a player and not happy politely state your case and leave it at that. Well put points will always be listened to and taken into consideration. Insults, repeat postings or attempts to highjack threads will not and may result in a ban.

personally i think the current season should finish, if only to satisfy those like myself who have put alot of time into putting together a stable for it.
the nhc staff at least is complete and this league could be completed easily.

Well done Rich, the right decision in my view and the only way forward. With the checks in place we can all be confident of fair play going into the future and I believe a greater stronger league will emerge from all this, because to be honest anyone that gets up to no good after all this has got to be a complete idiot of the highest order and would deserve a lifetime ban.
For those worried about having better horses that aren’t going to get a chance to race, I wouldn’t worry about it, I guarantee the horses you have now will be outclassed by future horses you will get, it’s always the way in this game, and in any case we’re all going to be effected by this and we will all have to go about finding new horses.
Clean slate, fresh start, everyone back in, best decision in my view. Again well done Rich, you have my full support with this decision.

There are the things I disagree with in this post but I will not drag them up.
The decision to start a fresh seems the only way. People will always cheat if there are no checks in place. Very sad but we are all different people.
The new security system is awesome and I think the league will be better then ever once this episode is put aside and everyone is back racing.
I shall contact Scatters.
