I haven't read the other threads on this forum for some time and am only reading this one as I was directed to it in an email sent to old staff about the latest updates.
Firstly, on a number of occasions people have referred to cliques and who is in cahoots with who. Generally it is nobody's business who I speak to outside of this forum but to put the record straight, I had never spoken to Rich before all of this started, I had maybe spoken to Luke for ten minutes tops, and the only members of 'my clique' are Jamie, Jason and Mike. One of which was the person who reported the non-existent rule break and one of which was on the panel that investigated it so I think the clique idea is flawed quite frankly and just something people liked to throw in in an attempt to ignite debates.
Secondly, the fact that the 'inter-breeding' issue died a death, debate wise anyway, a good few months ago and yet the arguments, insults, bickering, immaturity, and inability to unanimously agree on the slightest thing still continues shows how little chance the league has no matter who runs it.
Autocracy is needed because democracy sure as hell didn't work!! The fact that the league part of the forum is the only one that has threads locked due to pointless escalation should tell you that.
Luke is the only one, as far as I am aware, that is interested in coming back and as I understood it, none of his horses contained anyone else bloodlines, so just suck it up and help Rich move forward instead of trying to start barney for the sake of it.

all im upset about is that because i thought this season was continuing and next season was far away, i started a new game. so there is no way i will have better horses than i have this season, but everyone elses will be better. so id be nailed on for bottom 5 finish before we even begin. and i worked so hard on my nhc horses to get some good enough to compete at cheltenham and i felt i had some good jumpers. now they only had one race and thats all gone aswell

The clique thing brought up is ridiculous and DB has it right. I was in his clique with Jamie so to speak and I grassed them up so how is that a clique?

The reason it was done because in my eyes it is horse duplication but not done using a third party program. Horse duplication of any sort is not allowed but I agree and said at the time when passing the information on you will not have a leg to stand on because rules are not in place so the league setup is to blame.

The morale and banter of the league as a whole was utter garbage. No one could be arsed to write about thier horses nor did they want to join in competitions etc but mainly suspicions caused this?

I will only take part in this league if EVERYONE returns and we are guranteed banter and discussions. Its not just about the races. I love going on to the forum and reading posts from peoples horses whether they finished first or last. It doesnt take 5 minutes to post a review of your week.

yeah exactly jay, which was why i tried to start a thread on the festival to drum up some excitement for the biggest week of the nhc. but i think the wind was out of everyones sails by then.

im not sure everyone will return jay to be honest but we shall see

I agree. I do not think DB or Jamie will return which means I will not be returning.

Im also disappointed in this decision to end the current season I too have put alot of work in my stable to get good horses for the rest of the season and cheltenham week and now it seems to have been for nothing I dont think i will be putting this much effort again in any future leagues

Why will trainers not return it would be a shame to lose DB and others from whats happened before, a fresh start with security measures is excellent and i know a lot has been said and done but come on lets put it all aside for the next season, DB can enter horses and remain almost unnoticed if he wants to why should any miss out on the game we all love playing, unless he feels he really cant play which is hes own call but would love to see all old trainers entering, come on DB have a think on it mate!!

By the way if you need a race secretary for any of the leagues I would glady do it.

Rivers can i just say if you aint got nothing pleasant to say please say nothing it dont do any good keep trying to start arguments, these arguments keep going round in circles ( regarding old trainers and whats gone on). He did this, they said that who really cares what happened before lets all get on with the future seasons PLEASE!!!
