Lol the perils of Wolverhampton and All Weather racing, just don't bother with it lol! In fact I never bother with flat racing at all during the weekdays, I only look at the good stuff on friday/saturday and Irish on Sunday's.....I mean anything All Weather or Ripon/Musselburgh etc is just donkey stuff where winners can pop up from nowhere!!! That's why I like the Jumps nothing beats a 5 runner Novice Chase on a Monday at Plumpton!! Guaranteed winners lol!!

I love any flat, turf, racing - as long as the grounds good to firm (or around that).
The 2 week stretch of that ground late Aug-early Sept provided fruits for me, 2500 worth of fruit from a tricast and 3000 from the 2 weeks general punting further.
Shame it all went the weeks after on student accommodation

Because its the optimum for winners. Good has a touch too much cut, not the best horse wins. Worse is terrible for summer, flat racing. Then firm gets the best horses pulled out in fear of injury...
So it leaves nice, quick, good to firm ground lol.
btw, good winner stevie

Fair point, I seem to always pick winners over heavy ground over the jumps....Just pick the ones that can jump and can stay at least 2-4 furlongs further on ok ground lol!!

I find it a lot easier to follow handicaps over the jumps, the form usually means something most races... Or winners carrying a penalty within the week, they run well usually over jumps too.
Find past winner stats mean something over jumps too, i sometimes follow them on saturdays/bigger meetings apart from festival
