Weight of Dogs
I'm new to the game and was wondering if the weight of the dogs matter, or if it's just there for window dressing.
I know in real racing that, eg, a small dog can get pinched pretty badly between two much heavier dogs. (Or sometimes a small dog has a much better chance of out-breaking two larger dogs.)
Anyway, just wondered if anyone noticed weight having an effect in the game.

Dog's weight
If you look at your greyhounds that have had a few races and then list their wins and placings, you probably won't see much fluctuation in their weight between races.
I don't really think it affects the outcome as far as GM is concerned and in any event, it would seriously slow your own progression in the game if you stopped to check your runnerrs weights every time!
In the real greyhound world, weight differences can sometimes affect a dog's performance and the racing manager at a track can withdraw a runner from a race if it's weight varies by more then 1kg.
