Hurricane Hurdle Series - NEW TO NHC LEAGUE THIS SEASON!
Just to let trainers know how this series is going to work
It is a great series for those trainers who have horses that ideally like weird distances and therefore will not be suited to 2mile hurdling or 3mile hurdling. The prize money will be similar to that awarded by Moores Millions races and I would recommend using one or two of ur stable slots specifically for these races.
There will be 4 SHORT hurdle races - 2m1f-2m3f (listed, hcap and group level) with a short hurdle final over 2m2f. Horses which finish in the top 3 will qualify. If an already qualified horse finishes in the top 3 of a race then the next placed horse will qualify. Wild cards will also be ararded.
There will be 4 LONG hurdle races - 2m5f-2m7f (listed, hcap and group level) with a long hurdle final over 2m6f. Same rules apply!
The top 5 placed horses in the short hurdle and long hurdle final will qualify for the GRAND FINAL OVER 2M4F, which will be a gr1 hcap to even things out nicely.I have specifically created this series to give every trainer a chance of big wins with huge prize money
Prize money will be huge with sponsorship already certain from Paul Moors, Hemz, and myself!!
Hope to see everyone there and good luck in it.

My 2 eligible horses will have already run 5 (Over The Moon) and 6 (Marksman) times this season. With only 9 runs allowed for each horse and neither of them likely to stay 2m2f, I can confirm that they are both non-runners.

Am the same dave, will not be running any of mine with the 9 race rule. Need to save them for the festivals in the last 3 weeks of the season.
Not a fan of the this rule at all tbh.

Perhaps next year it will be any horse that has ran in a qualifier can ran in the final has the top yards have two or more qualified and the minor yards like my horses are not good enough you may end up at the moment with 7 and thats if trainers ran them.
or the first six qualifer in any qualifier.

It would be great if all horses can race and it not affect the 9 run rule
