For me I just think that Newmarket is a weird track. Always throws up some strange results when i trial there. I'm discounting Polar Catalagan's performance on that basis. Nice to have my first winner at other tracks though. Calatagan Adamay didn't disgrace either chasing Paul's home.

I think the reaction to this race was really poor i think your horse was so game and fair play to you and your horse you are spot on your glory will spur the others on this not and never will be a league just for the elitist i personally would not be involved in something like that its a league for everyone. i was personally delighted for you Mikey you should be really proud of your brave horse i think your Victory is EXACTLY what the lge should be all about. This is what i am trying to incorporate in the newsletter reviews of a handful of races at every level so everyone gets a bit of the lime light you took a big chunk of it this week Mikey enjoy it and don't worry about anything just enjoy it see you at the curragh next week my horse has a lot of rebuilding to do bitterly disappointed about his performance but was truly pleased for you

I must say I am really happy Bob Dylan won I thought it was incredible performance to go start to finish. And he is the type of horse I would love to have in my stable.
Its one for my theory that the quickest times in the ck don't necessarily lead to the best horse in the league.
I for won am really happy so many new trainers are winning top races. In NH we also had a new trainer winning a group 1. And long may this continue

YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!! First winner of the league, exploiting a generous handicap mark, eased across the line, thank you handicapper!! Overall a fairly successful week, nearly got home in the Chester cup, a little bit disappointed with heroic quest but form still indicates she'll get further and the jockey waited too long with her. Ill forget about my other 3 runners but 2 olaces and a win are very nice, more than I'd expected before I started the league, and nice to win outside gamebred company.

Thanks Paul and Leon Its great having a first group winner, group 1 winner and 1st classic winner all in one go. Was gutted I read the review instead of waiting to get home and watch the race first kind of took the edge off. Obviously im most pleased this week with Bob Dylan but I was extremely happy with the performance of Maximum Triumph who will benefit for a step up in trip for the Oaks whether or not she can step upto that class I don't know but she stayed on strongly over a mile and a quarter giving the impression a step up will suit. Most of my other horses ran poor I was disappointed with the run of Expelliarmus I thought he'd be closer and maybe a 1m2f will suit better. Dylan Thomas may well give me a runner in the Derby but I feel a mile might be better after a promising run in the Dante im still not sure where is best distance lies. Armageddon will step up now to 6f and hopefully win a low class race, Tom Thumb needs a mile but races aren't there and I don't know exactly how much she'll improve for the step up to a mile so a handicap is out of the window. Don't want the stewards fining me lol. Getting Fed Up ran well for a long way in his maiden and weakend tamely at the end, a return to a mile or 7f is on the cards depending what there is available for him. Black ops will try 1m6f now and Nympho ill drop to 1m2f to see if they improve. Congrats UBAR now you have to aim higher and success will follow Well Done

Don't do that Paul.. it's a great read . If trainers don't want to know the results then they can simply choose to not look at the newsletter till they have watched the races.
