Post New Flat Schedule 2YO Changes
I wanted trainers to know that the following Changes will be implemented for the 2YO schedule in the new Schedule

A New two year old schedule i want to spread the introduction of 2yo races as followed

Week 1&2 5f and 6f races only
Week3 2x7f Maidens introduced
Week4 2x 1m Maidens introduced
Week 5 1 x 1m 1f Maiden Introduced
Week 6 1 x 1m 2f Maiden Introduced

Nurseries
Week 3 5f Nurseries Introduced
Week 4 6f Nurseries Introduced
Week 5 7f Nurseries Intro
Week 6 1m Nuseries into
Week 7 1m 1f Nurseries intro
Week 8 1m 2f Nurseries introduced

I think the 2yo races need a shake up what are your Thoughts

I will also be trying to get a better stayers Schedule this may mean I will have to make up a few races for this.

Why not introduce races for 1m-1m2f horses earlier. I just think uploading them would be pointless if you couldn't run them until at least week 5/6 especially with the last 2 weeks being mainly group dominated. The focus should be on implementing more handicaps rather than introducing them gradually, you could have a 5f, 7f, 1m1f nursery one week then a 6f, 1m, 1m2f the next, with a slight bias towards 5/6/7f as those are normally most popular. 4/5 2yo maiden/nursery's with the addition of 1-3 2yo group races should be enough. It's the first time this week I've been able to get one of my 10f 2yo's in a race over actually 10f and it's week 9. I know this would happen in real life but for league purposes I think it would be more suitable to introduce them earlier rather than later. I think the stayers races have been ok, have had plenty of races to run them in and my 2m4f horse hasn't run much purely because of getting a high rating in a maiden which i'm quite happy with rather than having a lack of opportunities as Capriosa has been pretty much able to run week in week out. I think the stayers division races have improved on the past and there are more opportunities.

What I mean by stayers nick is not 2milers I mean the 2m 4f horses perhaps some handicaps at this distance like 0-90 I think there might be enough 2m 4f races for the top end of stayers but not at the bottom end.

I totally agree with you Nick about 1m 2f horse I got my horse 2 runs so far in but I would upload a 1m 2f 2YO in the window upload after week 5 next time but in having a 1m1f in week5 and a 1m2f in week 6 the time the 1m 2f Nursery in week 8 your 1m 2f horse could have had three runs with still 5 more weeks of the season to go.

To be fair Gray I think you've done a good enough job for catering for that anyway, not many people will have more than 2 2m2-2m4f horses and you have the 0-85 in week 3 plus a 2m2f 0-110, Chester Cup and a 0-90 2m4f race in week 4, 2m3f 0-85 in week 5 and 3 races over 2m4f in Ascot week, I think it is perfect how it is. Would be interesting to see what others thought.

I thought the two year olds was perfect. I'd be surprised if it can be improved.

I don't mind having the 1m-1m2 horses run after the middle window, perhaps have one or two more races for them.

I will be doing it week by week and uploading as I go along so trainers can discuss it and have their views if its looks like we have enough stayers then I wont add anymore there is to many group races but only in certain weeks like week8 but a few more handicaps can be added from Week 3 onwards as Week 1 and Week 2 will have mostly maidens.
