Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
R21 Dust Devil (4th) - good effort. wasn't quite good enough. R22 Mirror Blind (3rd) - took ages to get going. looks like she wants further still. R23 In For A Penny (3rd) - delighted with the run. Paul's winner was far too good. R25 Golden Call (8th) - ran ok. weakened last half furlong. R30 Happy Range (11th) - drawn wide and used up too much energy to get a position early. faded final furlong.
no winners today but 3 from 5 picked up some prizemoney including In For A Penny who placed in the Cambridgeshire. overall a pretty decent day and week for my flat team.
well done to all winners and placers.

Sirius had it down as a dirt race. Perhaps they got green dirt over there, they are always a ahead of the curve.

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Fern (14th) - Good recent form ended in the high class Cambridgeshire Untouchable (4th) - Only beat 1 home, poor horse King Louie (13th) - Not a bad run considering the opposition
Not many runners today.
Thanks to all who run the league

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Day 3 was a fruitful one for me with a win, second and third. I would of won the Cambridgeshire if it wasn't for that meddling pjrhodes1970 runner. My mid season subs are really picking up the slack. I noticed the discrepancy when I was double checking the race conditions before I added the weather for the week. Was going to ask about it but didn't get around to it. I apologize for any problems this may have caused.

The Trainer takes the blame The owners have told me that they will never have another horse with me again Ungrateful sods I won the Belmont with her.

Well done to winners & placers over the last 2 days Thanks to the team for running the races this week. Thanks Nashwan. I think that was my favourite flat race this season when our horses hooked up, Rufoof and Warrior Queen went head to head and toe to toe. That was a great duel. Perhaps some of their off spring will battle it out next season. I love the two year old races. I had two freak horses going into this season, Warrior Queen and Greenbank Park. When u trial u horses they usually beat each other up but sometimes u find some horses/very few who just dominate when u race them and Warrior and Greeny did just that. Who knows if I will get any like that again. The pair might have run their last races. There's nothing better when we all put in a stupid/crazy amount of time getting our horses ready for the league and they perform on the big stage.

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Welcome back Jalupen, last week I had a absolute horror story at the biggest Meeting of the season. But instead of getting mad I'm going to use it as motivation to get better for next season's Festival. Plus my horses were the first beat last week and yet this week they went of on one. My motto is enjoy the good days because u going to have some crappy ones along the way.
Plus u couldn't quit, u got a battle with nashwan to win the title. All to play for in the title race.

Volpini was my only runner today and she was massively outclassed in the Marathon but she enjoyed her American holiday.
Well done to all BC winners and placers today

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
just 1 runner today and I wish I'd never bothered. R7 Skye Blue - she wants 2m and was only running because the most suitable race for her this week was for gamebreds only I think she beat 2 or 3 home.
