Its back to the drawing board and these forums for me to discover how to properly breed for the league, for SO6.

Hopefully things wil be changing in SO6 (somehow) so the league is more of a level playing field. I can't wait to see how that is going to happen...

Nothing to write home about the first day of the last season of SO5 League. About what I expected from my donkeys which I didn't put much effort into improving. Still the joy of participating is what its about. Sure I'll win something here and there.

Race 13 Master Artist WINNER ran well its off to Meydan for the big 1 next week that was a workmanlike performance but well pleased

Race 14 Dead Eye Sniper 2nd He ran well was staying on at the end leger trip will suit great start from him nice run from Ghostzappers horse

Race 18 Flemmington Fever 3rd Delighted with that start 2 miles will suit better a positive start for my melbourne cup horse

Race 19 Bymount 6th I am afraid he is not as good as thought trialing for subs at moment and he is not even the best 1m4f horse in my
Current yard in lge that is Deadly Dozen he did try and make all and went out like a light at end he wont be around for long i may scrap him

Race 20 Reappearance WINNER wow just got up and did it well she looks the real deal unlike Bymount totally delighted with that run
looking forward to Matt s Antepost market for the oaks JT's horse was closing look forward to a rematch Jamie

Well happy today, all of my horses performed well.

Cezanne 1st, better than I ever could have expected on soft ground, better on faster.
Moon Madness 1st, delighted, following in his parents footsteps.
In the groove 5th, ran well, going to need a faster pace. Running on well at the end.
Acatenango 2nd, over the moon, I finally bred a decent mile and half horse.

The oaks trail was run at a slugs pace but the derby trail was the fastest middle distance race I've seen, my horse struggled to lay up with the pace. It will be interesting to see if we get that type of pace in the derby.

Paul there's nothing between our st leger horses, a good battle all season long.

First winner of the season on the flat for me with a sprinter!!! Bit of surprise as my sprinters are not normally up to scratch

R12 Point Blank - 5th - Great run - Running on well - distance was too short and still on target for the oaks.
R13 Plotline - 8th - never showed
R16 Astral Travel - 4th - ran on but was never going to get there
R17 Violent Action - 1st - would be wary about this form though
R18 Sketch Up - 2nd - Got tired as expected. 14f is as far as he wants. Although Deadly Pole looks a good horse
R20 Gay Divorcee - 4th - Point Blank is much better over 12f. Will drop back in trip with Kentucky Derby a likely target. More confident of a repeat win in the oaks for the stable after this race

R12-From above(2nd) will improve on dirt onto Dubai

R14-Red hot harry(3rd)good debut staying on well on course for the leger

R16-Lethargy(1st)really good run onto Dubai expect mutaakkid to be close again

R19-Desperado(3rd)really good run behind an impressive winner hes only here for 1 race perhaps 1 more prep for him

R20-Aruba(2nd)really pleased with her will improve

R11 Boom Boom (4th) - good run even if it was a little frustrating to come off worst in a 4-way photo finish.
R13 Hands On The Clock (10th) - drawn in the car park, held up and got stuck behind a wall of horses most of the way up the straight. a race to forget.
R18 Prophecy (4th) - ran well but likely to be more suited to a shorter trip. Ebor is the most likely target at this stage.

R11 - Friendly Fire 1st - Will need to produce these runs against 3yos, first winner.
R12 - Electronic Earth 14th - A monster on CK, maybe needs fast ground.
R13 - Maze 13th - Very tight race, stuck behind walls of horses.
R14 - Megara 10th - Signs of ability but disappointing nonetheless.
R16 - Swinging 12th - Just couldn't keep it up with leaders.

R14 Aljaaziah (5th) needs a little further but happy enough with that run
R16 Mutaakkid (2nd) happy with that run, would of won easy if the jockey never rode into the back of a fading horse
R20 Mulamasa (9th) not happy with the way she ran but will be happy with the handicap she get, take it easy Gray
