I think sometimes when you enter your best horses from your game as a new player you assume that everyone else's are of the same, or lower ability. It's only afterwards that you realise that other people's horses are much better. Another assumption is that, like in the game some of these lower graded races are easy pickings. And finally that the handicapping will be as lenient in the league as it is in the game. You can win a G1 in game and your horse might only get rated 100 or so, still a decent mark for goig handicapping...

And it already looks like  some like Cahiller have horses that can compete at the top level

Gamebred jumpers can compete where if u was to put the best gamebred Flat horse ever he would still get a spanking, u can bred with jump gamebreds and get good horses no chance on the flat.

						cheers leon but before i entered the league i had my reservations and hopefully some horses can do well but i wont hold my breath, hopefully in SO6 i will get all quality horses like U, PJ and others

Gamebreds may not compete at the very top table but I won a group 1 handicap and was a very close second in another last season, both with gamebreds. They were effectively 90 rated animals so the weren't too bad and it shows that the "slower" players can win good races and it's worth having a go.
