Only thing I could suggest is taking your two best ck 1m4 stallions and breeding with all your best ck sprint mares, not only will you get a bunch of good milers and 1m2 horses, you can get a freak sprinter or a freak 1m4 horse. I also done it the other way around, best sprint stallions with my best staying mares. It brings full knew blood lines in and if your lucky you might get a freak that will improve your lines, even if you dont get the 1m4 freak you should at least get a couple good enough to add into your 1m and 1m2 lines so its worth doing imo.

 Re: SO5 World Record Times
Times might not be the be all and end all when it comes to the league, some people use pacemakers, 90% of my horses race handy so its unrealistic settings thats producing the times.
Ahkc has to be the early favourite but we wont really know until after the first week, I dont think anyone will dominate like Scatters did, there wont be much between a lot of trainers so it should be relatively open at most distances.

 Re: SO5 World Record Times
i think the reduction in stable size is good makes it difficult for one person to dominate

 Re: SO5 World Record Times
Scatters domination wasn't down to superior quality of his horses despite them being very good he was wise to the lack of pace and capitalised on that by breeding front runners and handy types and stealing races from the front.

10f 2:2:85 Don't feel too bad if Truth Or Lie is still you best horse after 2 weeks of breeding PJ. I don't know how many generations I've done at 10f since this one was bred in August of this year. It's still the one to beat for me

 Re: SO5 World Record Times
Darn you akhc! I ran a 2.2.87 earlier on again in Group 1 conditions off 9st 6lb but was holding onto that one. I hope that wasn't a low weight performance in a handicap that's toppled me.

I've kinda given up on everything over 1m as I'm not having much joy getting times down though I probably will revisit 1m6f at some point before Xmas just for the league to see if I can go any faster. It's the sprinters that I really have high hopes for.

 Re: SO5 World Record Times
Couple of record times to add, the mile record obtained in Gp1, the 15f obtained in a Listed event.
